"That's an interesting question to ask," She eyed me curiously, then looked at everything I'd picked. "Though, considering what you picked, it's not surprising."
"What does what I picked have to do with anything?" Scowling, I scanned the items, knowing I would pay a hefty price for all of it and probably not money.
"It shows your views on things and what you believe everyone needs," She picked up the rooster, turning it in her hands. "And what you know of yourself. It's not the norm, but then again, I don't expect the Shadow King to think like the ordinary folk. You wouldn't be who you are if that were the case."
"How do you know so much about me?" I knew it was a dangerous question, but I was curious. "Have you been spying on me?"
