Chapitre 192: FLOORED

Louisa felt a heat rush up her cheeks. It wasn't the sun hanging boldly in the sky that was making her feel hot. It was the man standing right in front of her, staring into her with his unfathomable dark eyes, that was doing a lot of damage to her hormones.

The naughty thoughts couldn't be helped as he'd kissed her hard the night before after he'd chased Clarissa out.

"What's on your mind?" Rochester asked suddenly.

Huh? "N-nothing." She stuttered, then took a step back. It was impossible for him to tell what she was thinking. Could he tell that lewd images of him were dominating her thoughts?

She shook her head, not expecting him to.

"Then why have you suddenly gone silent? Unless you've just swallowed a frog, I suspect you're thinking about something. Or is it someone?" Rochester said, taking a threatening step towards her.

Louisa backed away, her face turning tomato red.

"Tell me who you're thinking about?"
