Mrs. Vim was glaring at Ho-Jim after he told her about Syanja and everything which had been going on for the past few months. She sighed and took a glass of water, which was on the table, and drank it before saying anything. "I want to meet her." Mrs. Vim said out of the blue, making Ho-Jim shocked a little. He sat beside her and held her hand. "Mom, she is not working with us. Dad fired her. You remember the last time our company was on the news? That's why dad asked her to resign from the job." She nodded as she remembered that incident. Mrs. Vim smiled and glanced at Ho-Jim. "Where did she live?" She asked, making him sigh. "Mom, she is not in love with Hyun-Tae. Please try to understand. She likes Jung-Hoon, and the same goes for him." Ho-Jim made everything clear before anything worse happened. Mrs. Vim sighed and looked away in anger. Ho-Jim stood and went to his room. It was already late, after all. "I will make sure that Syanja, you have to come to my son." Mrs. Vim said sadly and stepped into her room.
In the morning, Syanja woke up as sunlight touched her soft and rosy skin. She groaned and shifted her position to a comfortable one. She was about to get up, but suddenly her phone popped up with a notification of a message. A smile crept on her lips as she saw Jung-Hoon’s good morning message. She wished him to and went to the restroom.
Syanja entered the company, and everyone greeted her. She did the same and went straight to her office. Syanja turned on her laptop and printed out the documents, and pasted them into the file. She sighed as her work was done and stepped into Jung-Hoon's office. Syanja knocked on the door softly, grabbing Jung-Hoon's attention. She smiled as she heard Jung-Hoon's voice. Syanja entered the office, but her smile faded away as she saw a girl in a short dress standing near Jung-Hoon. Her dress was so revealing, making Syanja uneasy. Syanja glanced at Jung-Hoon, who was busy at work, not even giving her a single gaze. She cleared her throat to catch Jung-Hoon's attention but failed badly in front of a blonde hair girl. The blonde hair girl smirked at Syanja and she gave her a disgusted look in a reply.
"Syanja, put the file here and on the table. I will check it after a while and you can go after that." He said, while focusing on his work. She nodded and placed the file near him on the table, stepping toward the door, but stopped as she heard. "Miss Lee, can you bring a cup of coffee?" Syanja turned her hand in a fist and left the office.
Miss Lee nodded and left the office. Syanja was about to enter her office when someone called her. "Miss. Seo?" She turned around to contact the person there. None other than Miss. Lee was standing near her. Syanja gave her a "what" look saying nothing. She understood that Syanja wanted her to continue with her look. "I am Lee Sui, Mr. Jeong's new secretary." She said proudly, making Syanja clench her jaw. "So? What can I do with it?" She said, not caring whatever Sui thought about her. Sui smirked and went near her. "So, you are perhaps jealous or something?" Sui whispered in her ear and leaned back. Syanja smiled and patted her head. "Dream on, girl." She said and went to her office.
Little did she know Jung-Hoon was looking at them. Jung-Hoon smiled as he saw Syanja's jealous face. He did it purposely. He wanted to see if she cared about him or not. Syanja took her phone and checked the date. Her eyebrows frowned as she remembered something.
Meanwhile, Hyun-Tae was sleeping peacefully. He groaned as his phone rang, making him angry. Hyun-Tae tried to adjust his vision. He took his phone from the nightstand and opened his message box. Hyun-Tae chuckled as he saw Syanja's Happy Birthday message. He replied to her and sat on the bed before heading to the restroom. He came out of the restroom after getting freshened up. Hyun-Tae went to his closet and wore his suit. After getting ready, he rushed down to the dining room for breakfast.
Mrs. Vim and Ho-Jim were having their breakfast when Hyun-Tae entered the dining room. No one gave him a single glance and ignored him like he was invisible. Hyun-Tae was about to say something, but Mrs. Vim took her plate and stepped straight into the kitchen. Ho-Jim was also focused on his phone while eating. Hyun-Tae was about to touch his hand, but Ho-Jim got up and left the house. Hyun-Tae sighed and stood up, as he knew he couldn't eat now.
U-Ram and Seo-Jin were in the conference room. They were having a new contract after an enormous loss. The opposite company was none other than The Vim Cooperation. They immediately signed the agreement, making Mr. Vim smirks, which was unnoticed by Seo-Jin and U-Ram. Mr. Vim shook his hand with both of them and left the conference hall after the meeting. "I know he is planning something big," Seo-Jin whispered but smiled as he saw his best friend happy. They shared a hug and went out.
Ha-Yoon and Ji-Ho were in the office of Jung-Hoon talking about random things. They were asking something to Jung-Hoon, but he wasn't paying attention to them. Ji-Ho got up and smashed on Jung-Hoon’s head, making him groan in pain. He immediately rubbed where Ji-Ho hit him. "Why?" He asked while glaring at Ji-Ho. They laughed at him but stopped as the door of the office-wide opened. There were Ho-Jim, U-Ram, and Seo-Jin. They entered the office and took seats. The other three gave them a weird look. Why are they here at the office? "Before you three ask us why we are here. I want to clarify that we are here because of Hyun-Tae's birthday today." Ho-Jim said, and they sighed.
"Miss. Lee tells Miss. Syanja that I Am calling her." Jung-Hoon said to his secretary. She nodded and went to Syanja's office. Syanja was doing her work, but her mind was still stuck on Jung-Hoon's behaviour. She couldn't believe he ignored her easily in front of a new girl. She shook her head as she made a mistake. A small knock on her door made her annoyed. "Come In." she said coldly, and the person came inside. "Mr. Jeong wants to meet you, Miss. Syanja." She said and rolled her eyes. Syanja nodded and went out of the office without glancing at her.
