"What else could you have planned, you stupid bastard?" Eric could be stunned and asked him to elaborate.
"Hey man, don't undermine me in front of the kid!" Namor slapped Eric's thigh in displeasure, then slapped the ground again so hard that a column of water immediately rushed up from the beach, at the top of which was a very large pearl mussel, which Namor opened and took out of it a black pearl the size of a dragon's eye.
"Here you are, sweet little girl, your eyes are as beautiful as this pearl." Namor handed the pearl to Skye in a very gentlemanly manner.
A little embarrassed, Skye jumped down from Eric's arms and took it carefully, "Thank you Uncle Namor."
"Yo, nice trick, got a lot of girls with that one, did you?" Eric raised an eyebrow and pulled Skye behind him, looking at Namor as if he were a trafficker.
"Just a little trick." Namor shrugged, unconcerned by Eric's taunt.
"Man, it cost me two billion dollars to save you, and you're going to have to pay me back for this." The black-hearted Eric lionised the money, doubling it several times over straight away.
"I didn't ask you to save me! And I don't have the money you groundlings have!"
"Pay off your debt with coral and pearls from the bottom of the sea! Skye, when we get back we'll add a jewellery department." Eric saw how much Skye liked the pearl and couldn't resist trying to get her some more, even adding a jewelry department just to make Skye happy.
"Really? That's great!" Skye was overjoyed, hugging Eric's arm and shouting her approval.
Namor shrugged and didn't say no, the Atlanteans lived under the sea and pearls and coral were the most common things, so it didn't matter if he gave some to Eric.
"Skye, there's a few dolphins there, go play!" Namor whistled, beckoning a few dolphins to lure Skye away.
"Man, you're not really helping this time, I had a hard time blending in with them!" Only after Skye had run away did Namor get a grumpy look on his face as he poured out his grievances to Eric.
"Blend in? You've been caught again, haven't you!" Eric bristled, never believing his words.
"I did that on purpose! You don't know, I had a hard time putting down the rebellion in Atlantis and it took me a few years to find the gang that caught me last time! I'm going to find their lair and make them pay in blood!" Namor gritted his teeth at the mention of his last capture.
Eric shook his head at that, this idiot, he wanted revenge but didn't even done his research, he didn't even know he was looking for the wrong people! At that moment, he gave him a brief introduction to the composition of Hydra's forces, so that he could understand that Alexander and Viper were two heads of one snake, two completely different organisations.
"Lady Viper has always been known for her toxins, if you fall into her hands, not to mention whether you'll live to see Alexander, even if you do, you won't have the strength to take revenge!"
"I know all that!" Half lectured by Eric, Namor's face was impatient, "I have a secret weapon!"
"A secret weapon? What is it?"
Namor hesitated, hammered himself hard in the stomach, opened his mouth and spat out a small crystal ball, which contained a clear liquid.
"What is this?" Even through the layer of crystal, Eric could sense the extraordinary nature of that liquid, it seemed to emanate an amazing charm all the time, and Eric surprisingly felt a fatal attraction to it.
After staring at it for a few seconds, Eric was filled with evil thoughts, wanting to grab it by force and keep it for himself, it was so bizarre!
He hurriedly turned his head, only to find countless crabs and shellfish crawling over the beach, and sea birds flying over the sea swooping in succession.
"Ah!" Skye let out a scream and Eric hurriedly turned his head to look, only to see that all the dolphins she had just been playing with had actually swam ashore and were still trying to move this way even though they had been stranded.
"What is this?!" Eric was appalled and snatched the little ball and shoved it hard back into Namor's mouth until it was swallowed by him and the animals returned to normal and Namor duly stepped in and returned the stranded dolphins to the sea.
"I don't know what it is, I found it in the treasury of Atlantis, it has a fatal attraction to living things and according to the records, it should give me even more power!"
Eric couldn't help but ponder at that, it was something he'd never heard of before! But the Marvel Universe was so vast, with countless wonders and treasures, it was normal to have treasures that he had never heard of.
"Atlantis?" Suddenly, Eric had a flash of light, remembering a trick that Apocalypse had once used, and stared at Namor and asked, "Is the Tablet of Life and Time in Atlantis still around?"
"I don't know, I've never seen that thing anyway!" Namor shrugged, unconcerned about his own artefact.
Eric couldn't help but roll his eyes, this guy was really big, he didn't even talk about finding his own artifact when it was lost, instead he devised a very poor plan to get revenge.
The Tablet of Life and Time, the artifact of Atlantis, had recorded the method that allowed a life form to evolve to its top form. During the King Thanos Universe, Eric had had the privilege of seeing part of the runes on it, but unfortunately, he had not been able to decipher the mystery.
Judging by the time, that tablet, should now be lying in the treasury of All Father Odin.
The secret weapon in Namor's hand was, in all probability, a product related to the Tablet of Life and Time, or else it would not have been so attractive to living beings.
"Namor, how about I help you take revenge in exchange for your secret weapon?" It would be a lie to say that something that allowed a lifeform to evolve to the top was not of interest, and Eric had a hunch that it must help him in fusing the four basic powers!
"You help me?" Namor looked hesitant, he was a man with a very strong ego and was the king of Atlantis, where would his pride be if a surface man help him take revenge!
"No need, I can handle it myself!" Namor shook his head and refused Eric's offer.
A real businessman would never let his rival know how much he cared about a thing. He shrugged in a fake relaxed manner and pulled out a business card, "It has my number on it, call me if you need anything, and for pearl and coral delivery, call the assistant to the president downstairs."
Namor took the card, and Eric said goodbye to him as Namor jumped back into the sea, quickly disappearing. Losing control of Namor, the dolphins playing with Skye also left one after another.
"Skye, let's go home!"
...
Back in New York, Eric first had a post-battle recap with Skye, then he took the Iron Monger to the airbase, as agreed, General Ross helped him to block the military pressure from disturbing his own daughter's first battle, and after it was done the Iron Monger was his.
"General, apart from the Iron Monger, there is one more thing I would like to talk to you about, about Bruce Banner!"
