"Alpha, are you leaving again…?" Dante had then asked me as I make my way towards our door.

I confusingly turned to him and said, "Yeah, I need to see my mate." His sigh had me eyed him and asked, "What's the problem?".

"Alpha, you been frequently out and the pack elders are getting anxious. Your trips abroad nearly drove the elders insane. Can you at least stay for a couple of more, well, days…?"

"What the fuck are they thinking? Doesn't the fact that I'm seeing my mate, their FUTURE LUNA, is something good and doing them a favor…?"

"Well –"

"Hell, no, I don't care about them, I'll go see my mate whenever I want! –"

"KALEB, please!" My Beta had then interrupted me after I cut him off. Him doing that to me is quite rude but sometimes it's because I'm acting all up again, "The pack needs you too… I can't assume your role for far too long. We have roles and rules to follow.".
