Chapitre 40: Ch 37 – Looking Back
"OH GODDDD!!!" said by Rintarou as he walks through the portal and summoned a cup of cold water for him to rapidly drink as he plops down on his chair and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Fwooh! The mask really helped a lot back there, I almost crack up my act and have to live with it" said by Rintarou as he looks at the mask he wore.
"Uwah, I really need a shower right now" said by Rintarou as he stretches his body and took off his outfit and headed to his bathroom and took a quick and cold shower as he felt refreshened.
"Damn, the pressure was really high back then, I could have spoken better words but to be honest, that was impressive as hell. Now how do I expound upon my character" muttered by Rintarou as he stood there in the shower and thought about things.
'I'll leave it for later, what I do need to worry is do I continue content creation or just not do it? Sigh, now that I think about it, it only brings fame and money, and I never needed fame in the first place and now I have money, hmm… I'll just try content creation, I'm immortal anyways so why not' thought by Rintarou as he turned off the shower and headed back to his room.
'I'll just sleep right now, I'm mentally tired with that grandeur debut for Kaleido' thought by Rintarou as he plops down on his bed while still wearing his wet towel on his waist and activated his new quirk Induce Sleep on himself and went to dream land once more.
(A Few Hours Later)
"Yawn, what time is it" muttered by Rintarou as he felt his wet bed and look at his phone to see it was already 4 pm.
"Oh, I slept for almost 6 hours. If this happened before I would have already went into an existential crisis about wasting my life away, haha!" chuckled by Rintarou as he stood up and reverted back his bed to be dry and put on his clothes and opened his computer.
"Hmm, Pokeemane should have already use my appearance to make herself more popular, I respect that to be honest, but am I, popular?" muttered by Rintarou as his computer finally booted up as he went straight to Chroma and search Kaleido and he saw twatter threads, news articles, weddit pages and more as he found it hilarious.
"Haha! They think I'm from another world!" said by Rintarou as he read some of the conspiracy theories regarding his Kaleido persona as he chuckled at how ridiculous it is.
"Uwah, I really need to think about the upcoming stream right now. Do I make him related to Kaleido? Make him mysterious or just someone normal? Do I make myself be on the moon? The mars? The void? What's his quirk? What's special about him?" muttered by Rintarou as he decided to go just fuck it and act as himself as it was the easiest solution he found.
"Do I also wear a mask or just be faceless? I'll just wear a face mask, but then comes the problem of how to start the stream? I never streamed, I don't know how a new person stream, now that I think about it if I suddenly start with a thousand viewers off the bat then that's fucking suspicious as hell!" muttered by RIntarou as he started to think of ideas.
"Fuck, I guess I'll just not manipulate it for the first few days and ramp it up as the days go, probably a 1.2 increase per stream? Yeah, 1.2, sigh, I guess I will ask Nari to watch me then" muttered by Rintarou as he decided to ask help from Nari for emotional and mental support from her.
He then opened Biscord and opened went to Nari as he called her.
"Hello" said by Nari.
"So uhh… can you watch my stream later?" said by Rintarou as he felt how cringe it was, to reject her but then ask her to watch him, it brought him critical psychic damage.
"Oh sure!" said by Nari.
"Thanks, maybe you watching me can boost the algorithm for me you know, but what do you wanna watch me stream?" ask by Rintarou.
"How about Craftmine? That's a popular game right now, maybe I can even play with you? But I'll give you a surprise later at the stream" said by Nari as she chuckled.
"Oh sure, what's the surprise about" ask by Rintarou.
"Just wait for it later, but you have non pirated Craftmine right?" ask by Nari.
"OF COURSE! Who would pirate such a great game!" said by Rintarou with a wide smile as he felt bullets of sweat appear on his forehead and beg for his Charisma to cover up his lie.
"Nice, send me the link later then" said by Nari.
"Sure, but do you want me to cook you dinner again? Like something we can eat while I stream" said by Rintarou.
"You sure about that?" ask by Nari.
"Yeah, I'm having a fun time cooking right now" said by Rintarou with a smile.
"Sure, what will the food be?" ask by Nari with excitement clear in her voice.
"Do you want something healthy? With vegetables?" ask by Rintarou.
"Sure, I'll want some kimchi by the way" said by Nari.
"Sure, see you later then, I'll bring it around 7:50 so its not that hot when I start streaming" said by RIntarou.
"Okay, see you later!" said by Nari as she said goodbye along with Rintarou as she ended the call along with Rintarou as he rapidly went to buy the official Craftmine game and breathed a sigh of relief when Nari didn't caught his obvious lie.
"Fwooh, might as well also buy Terrarium, Star Mist Valley and other games I have" muttered by Rintarou as he felt his life time long pirate identity vanishing away into dust and felt his soul slightly cracking, like a piece of him going away and felt somehow… empty.
'… My pirate soul has vanished into the wind, replace by this rich kid who has money, I feel so… empty. Sigh, this power really changed me huh, before I would have saved as much money as possible and spend the least every day, I even remember myself being thin as fuck back in middle school because I only ate cheap foods for lunch, but here I am now, fulfilling my life… There is the saying that you should look back at where you came from, to not forget your roots, I would have never thought that this saying will apply to me at such a young age, sigh, I'll just watch some anime first before I go into an existential crisis again' thought by Rintarou as he almost went into one of his old daily existential crises before he received his power and watch some wholesome anime to fill the void in his heart.
AN: I indeed do have an existential crisis on a weekly basis.
