The softness that met him stunned George Flack in an instant. He immediately sat up and upon opening his eyes, found, to his alarm, that the person lying beside him was Mallia Mamet!

George refused to believe it, so he rubbed his eyes again. But after repeated confirmation, it was indeed Mallia lying next to him!

Sitting up, George felt his entire body stiffen. He was particularly startled, yet he dared not make a sound for fear of waking Mallia. If she awoke, how would he explain himself?

The two of them were still sharing the same blanket, which was large but was largely wrapped underneath Mallia. Gazing at Mallia's shoulders, below them was just the blanket.

George dared not let his thoughts wander further down, even though Mallia appeared to be stark naked.

Carefully lifting his own blanket, George's headache intensified as he realized he too was completely naked—yet there was nothing on the bed to provide any cover for him!
