Evelyn POV

When we got home, Thaddeus explained what he saw. Honestly it came as no surprise to me, I had been saying it all along that it wasn't an accident. I was shocked however to find out Laura had something to do with it.

I let them discuss it, I couldn't give a rat's ass what they had to say. I knew all along yet I was delusional in thinking it. Bianca though, I was worried about and when Amara came over frantically looking for Mara I nearly lost it.

Mara was already suffering with these dreams. I was not about to allow her to be used even by my family. Amara would have to wait and either do what Thaddeus did or let him do it and relay it to her. I wasn't having them tinkering and sifting through her memories, it was never a pleasant feeling when done to me so I wasn't about to allow it to happen to my daughter.

"I will be quick, in and out in two seconds Evelyn, she may not even notice" Amara argues with me.
