As soon as Yvo realized that his meeting with the merchant guild members wasn't as important as what his noonim made it out to be, he wrapped it up– much to the members' chagrin.

These people were sent by Cyrus Helion, so it could only mean one thing.

[Noonim and the brat Crown Prince worked together to trick me into coming here.]

"Shut up," Yvo said coldly to the five merchant guild members that he had a meeting with. "I already know that Prince Cyrus only sent you to keep me here for as long as you can."

The five gentlemen faked a cough and avoided his gaze.

Right now, he was in the private lounge of a famous restaurant in the duchy's capital. He had already been a good host since he prepared a feast for the gentlemen. Now that he knew this meeting was only meant to stall him, he had no more reason to stay there.
