Chapitre 18: Inside his house
A beautiful white chandelier welcomed her from the high ceiling. The hallway had large expensive beautiful moulded panels.
As she walked further inside, the hallway opened up larger with huge stairs in the middle. This place was built with a lot of money. This place was alty. It had six floors and they were on the first floor, she was imagining what the 5 floors would look like.
"Let me send you to the dressing room". Ning Quio nodded and followed him obediently as usual.
He handed the gown to her and left her. She immediately put on the gown but as she was about to walk out, she saw long dazzling white heels and they seemed to be new. She put them on. But soon a man walked in" I'm here to do your makeup " Ning Quio nodded.
Soon it was time for her to go out.
When Lu Laoyang saw her appearance he froze, this girl was too pretty. No, she wasn't pretty, she was gorgeous. They made such a perfect match. Her entire body shuddered when she met his eyes but she let out a beautiful smile."Are you done?" she asked
"Yes my lady"
Ning Que face flashed red immediately. She turned around to hide it and calmed down before turning to look back at him.
The shiny silver sequin on the gown was sparkling when the light reflected on it. The off-shoulder, v neck mermaid gown felt so luxurious that she was afraid to touch it.
Lu Laoyang handed over a pink and silver mask.
As they walked out, a limited silver Limousine drove to them and Lu Laoyang opened the door for her as a real gentleman would.
They drove for an hour and arrived at a seven-star hotel.
Somewhere in the hotel, a huge magnificent ball was ongoing, it seemed to be a high-class occasion. Many round tables had been dotted around and the room was decorated with wine and white representing wealth.
This masquerade ball was certainly the display of wealth. The silver cutlery caught the eye of many as well.
Everyone was wearing a million dollars wealth dress most especially the women, their earrings, necklace, bracelet and rings were all displays of wealth. Each person wore a mask hiding their identities.
With her arms in Lu Laoyang's arm, they walked in, Ning Quio had never seen such extravagance in her life. She knew the rich threw parties but she had never seen such a luxurious affair. She snapped out of her awed when he led her to the champagne fountain.
He took a glass for her and himself as well.
She observed the place as Lu Laoyang excused himself to talk to some people.
Though he was far from her, his eyes never left her. Ning Quio glanced around when she heard a voice behind her" Hello I'm Li Xinjiang"
Ning Quio turned around and saw a pretty girl standing before her, she was dressed in a red gown with silver short heels.
"I'm Ning Quio"
"I've never seen you before"
"I came with CEO Lu"
"You must be kidding, my cousin doesn't like being around girls why would he be with you?"
"Lu Laoyang is your cousin? I'm honest you can ask him"
"Are you his girlfriend?"
"No am his nothing"
Li Xinjiang stared at her up and down for a while "You're an actress right?"
"Yes"
"Don't dare try to seduce my cousin "
"I would never do that"
"Li Xinjiang what are you doing here?" A cold voice asked behind them. It was Lu Laoyang.
"Cousin, did you come here with this girl?"
"Yes she is your future sister in law"
"What?" Ning Quio asked in surprise
"Miss Ning, could you kindly get me a glass of water?" Lu Laoyang asked Ning Quio frowned and left, Lu Laoyang stared at Li Xinjiang coldly which sent a shiver down her spine.
"Make sure to treat her nicely or you'll regret it"
Li Xinjiang nodded obediently, she knew her cousin and wouldn't joke with his words.
