Chapitre 12: Down the stairs
Early next morning
Ning Quio woke up feeling a bit dizzy she looked around and saw she was in her room,she walked to the bathroom, washed her face and brushed her teeth. Then last night events flooded into her mind,she remembered she was drunk but the rest was blur. She checked her flat and found that the two men were gone,she signed in relief. She changed herself to go to the company, she must have become a laughing stock after failing to get the role.
She had heard that the Absa world was the most popular and one of the best entertainment companies with four hundred media outlets and Second Young Master Lu was the CEO.
She sat up and logged into her WeChat account,there was no interesting news apart from the fact that Jun Li had the second female lead. Soon she got up and left for Starlight company, where she worked.
When she entered the company, everyone that looked at her seemed to smile mockingly. Even the security man dared to do so.
Ning Quio didn't even throw an eye at them and continued walking. Then she met Jun Li standing with her two of her assistants.
"Look who's here" Jun Li said in a teasing voice. Her assistants looked at Ning Quio disgustingly as if she was some trash.
"Jun Li, you should'nt try to mock me because you used the wrong means to get that role through the right order, your fiance helped you"
"Yes everyone knows that! Ning Quio, but what about you? who would help you? Your only choice is to sleep your way up!", Jun Li mocked
"I'll work hard,I'll not be like you who depends on others for their needs and so on"
"Shut up Ning Quio, you should know that only the rich calls the shots,know your place because I could get you out of here anytime but I feel pity for you "
"Pity?" Ning Quio asked and started laughing.
Jun Li felt annoyed seeing her look calm and left.
Ning Quio always hid her weakness but after being laughed at,she felt sad and it showed on her pretty face.
She continued her walk to Sun Xioa office. she knocked on the door before going in.
"Greetings sister Xioa ", Ning Quio greeted politely
"Look who's here,our precious Ning Quio, Ning Quio didn't I tell you? you would lose the roll by all means but you didn't listen,now you have become a laughing stock. Find a way of solving that matter yourself "
"But sister Xioa I...", Ning Quio tried to explain
"Ning Quio it's too late to explain I have a lot of things to take care of,please don't disturb me", Sun Xiao brushed her off.
Ning Quio left the office and didn't know where to go,she decided to go to the canteen, as she was going down the long stairs someone with a mask suddenly appeared behind her and pushed her causing her to roll down the long stairs and slightly injured.
She lay on the floor with blood all over her body but no one helped her,soon she began to fade out.
