But before he could take even as much a step away from the edge of the bed, a soft hand grabbed his larger ones. And a soft tiny voice which was more of an usher reached his ears, 

"Don't leave me....." his immediate thought upon the unexpected series of event being that maybe she wasn't asleep he quickly turned back to face her without jerking her hand off his skin.

But to his consternation, her eyes were still down shut, she was still asleep. Her milky skin shimmered in the pale moonlight and he sighed. A sigh, not out of any sort of disappointment or vexation, not a sigh of relief either, it was a sigh of disbelief at how adorable yet beautiful she appeared lying there motionless. The way the moonlight that shone upon her skin gave it a milky appearance made his eyes soften into awe for how he, the man who had no inclinations for women since a very long time, was staring at her with all his heart poured into his vision.
