After returning home, Connor slept until four in the afternoon.

When Connor woke up, he found that Rachel had already returned.

At this moment, he was sitting on the sofa and watching television.

"You're back?"

Connor stretched and walked out of the bedroom, asking Rachel softly.

"Yes…"

Rachel lightly nodded. After which, she turned her head to look at Connor and asked indifferently, "Why did you go back to Porthampton these past few days?"

"What else could I have done? I just went back to spend some time with my fiancée for a few days. Then, I participated in the joint school anniversary held by the three universities in Porthampton and played a piano piece there…"

Connor walked to the fridge and opened it, looking for something to eat.

However, there was nothing in the fridge.

"There's nothing to eat in the house?" He asked Rachel exasperatedly.

"Doesn't seem like it," Rachel said indifferently.
