She couldn't understand why an influential person like Titus would curry favor with an ordinary university student like Connor.

"Yeap, Titus has always been trying to please me. He has come to me several times in private, but I rejected him every time!"

Connor paused and then continued, "Titus somehow found out about my relationship with Thomas, so he wanted me to help him ask Thomas for something. I didn't want to get involved with them, so I never agreed to Titus's request!"

"And then?" Freya blinked and asked.

"You know what happened after that. Before I came, I contacted Titus and asked him to do me a favor. He took the initiative to admit that the vase was fake, but in fact, the vase was real!" Connor slowly explained.

"But if he does this, won't he lose a vase for nothing?"
