Well this is my explanation why Ryu is that strong because Big mom is monster. Well you may be understemating big mom as a weakest Yonko? Nahh she is not the weakess....wait wait wait before you start cursing me this is my reasons look of all the original Yonko(Shanks, Kaido,Bigmom, Whitebeard) she is the only one who had no scar.
She has no scar because he did not fight any strong people?(like roger...etc) Nahh Roger and Bigmom fight for sure because Roger did rob the poneglyph that bigmom's hiding.
Look at the battle between Kaido and Big mom in anime the Ikoku was deflected by Kaido's Raimei Hakke but Big mom catches the ikoku like nothing and throws it like a trash.
This show how clearly strong big mom.
If you are a manga reader then you know how powerfull bigmom is and we still don't know what the full capabilities of the soul soul fruit.
Don't underestimate bigmom.
Also if your thinking that Ryu is almost invisible because of his defense then you are wrong...
There are many ninjutsu can kill Ryu or penetrate his skin like Chidori, Raikiri, hell stab...etc
They are made to penetrate someone's defense.
And if there's ninjutsu that can damaged the internal organs then it's dangerous to Ryu right now.
If i make some kunai penetrate Ryu's skin then you will gonna say How can kunai penetrate his skin he has Bigmom template...
I like op mc but not super overpowered like saitama, Rimuru, Anos, etc...
