Chapitre 216: you don't belong here

Charis sat in front of her computer typing away, her eyes hadn't strayed anywhere since she sat down two hours ago. The entire office through the occasional glance after Prisca's snide remark when she took her seat and remained seated for more than thirty minutes would hurt the normal Charis but she hadn't even flinched. But soon she would have to, when Sebastian walked into the room she hadn't noticed at first.

What she had been dreading for hours since she opened her eyes this morning she had thought of nothing else. How would it be to see him this morning? "Good day everyone," He said.

The whole room was on their feet, and he stepped aside revealing a stunning young woman in a pantsuit and a silk blouse. "This is my new secretary, Spencer Fischer," he said and nodded at the woman.

"Nice to meet you all, I do hope we get along." She said politely and while everyone tried to smile in welcome, some even clapped it didn't stop all the gazes that fell on Charis.
