Chapitre 87: Chapter 87: Lizard People
~Third POV~

Moving towards the direction that they obtain from the people of the city without sound as they follow the directions to where Daphne is.
However, when they left the outside city view Tatsumi used his [Shambhala] to activate bringing out his Danger Beast Pterodactyl as they fly high above the sky viewing the content of Fiore in the sky.
Fortunately for them that no other vehicle of transportation was useable for sky uses in the world of Earthland because of their lack of technology to create one. While there are few ships or rides that can do this in Fiore it's only restricted for a select few that could achieve such results.
But for Tatsumi taming a Danger Beast that can fly is easy for people in his world.
That is currently happening as Hinata was holding on to Tatsumi surprised at how fast the Pterodactyl was flying above the skies.
As it was healed using Tatsumi [Overhaul] it was at its best peak physical condition than the rest of its kind as they flew across the sky as they felt the wind pushing against their faces.
Hinata on the other hand was more used to running on land as the ninjas of Naruto are not used to this kind of traveling left her hugging Tatsumi out of fear of falling off from the Danger Beast in question.
Tatsumi on the other hand had plenty of practice knowing where to ride his Danger Beast pet ahead of time in case something like this quest were to happen and travel on foot. Flying was the fastest way to travel quickly.

~Tatsumi POV~
*Swoosh*
Feeling the fresh wind pushing on my face was a great feeling to see everything from afar for a change of pace in this world.
Good thing flying across continents isn't something the people in Fiore haven't developed yet to make useable for public transportation than instead, they use trains and steam engines in this time.
Glancing at the compass direction going to the east of the city was Hinata was gripping my coat tightly as to not let go as she asked in shock, "Tatsumi-san where did you get such a beast to use as a ride and how can it be tamed!"
Smirking a bit but sheepishly smiling at this I responded to Hinata as if I was lecturing her about Danger Beast were riding on, "Easy I beat into submission. Lots of people tame Danger Beast in my world using it to ride or to fly above great distances to our locations. The Empire developed some Teigu that do the job but most just use the old method of taming them to our side."
Hinata nods her head at this as we broke possibly days of walking or running to the location into a few short hours instead. Hinata took comment on this seeing how easy it was for a ride as she spoke to herself depressed, "We ninja of Konoha train hours to run on days end without no food or drinks at times but we were bested by flying creatures taking days for us but hours for you… no fair…"
Hahahaha!
Laughing at this I can't help but think it's true because my pet took literal hours on to find the location quickly but it takes ninjas from Naruto days to run to their locations. Granted it was involved to dodge quickly from attacks but there must be better forms of traveling to them seriously?
I mean they can have summons do the work of transporting people like giant birds or horses to help out and they get a little of something in return.
I don't quite understand the logic of Naruto summoning in her world and also are there even any dragons in that world of hers?
I mean with all the creatures and insects wouldn't there be dragons or other mythical creatures in her world of summoning beasts or something?
But still though looking at everything down below was certainly fascinating I mean I can fly using the wind I generate but seeing it calmly for the first time instead of running has this certain type of freedom it has…
*Beep*
Returning my thoughts in order the beeping sound of the compass turned on as we found our Daphne as it was indicating it was right here as I took the chance to look around the place from below.
I frown along with Hinata seeing a village burned down with weird creatures taking the shape of bipedal lizards some bulky and others then and fast.
Narrowing my eyes I might not remember much about these creatures but ending quickly is the way to go as I spoke to Hinata seriously, "Hinata seems like the Daphne the Dark Mage is doing her experiments on this town. Can I trust you to find her while I deal with the creatures in the area?"
Hinata looked at me then at the ground as she nodded her head as she responds to me seriously of the situation, "Of course even though my abilities of searching have been as Saeko put it nerf. I'll still be able to find her with some help. [Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu]!"
*Poof*
Just like that I see two more Hinata that are around as they all nodded as I told Pterodactyl in a serious voice getting a grunt of confirmation, "Pterodcactly make sure to assist Hinata anyway possible as well take out some of the Lizards in the process. Got it?"
"Caww…"
With that, I began to drop down to get the handle of the situation…

~Third POV~
Daphne is a relatively tall, thin, bespectacled woman with shoulder-length black hair, brown eyes, and large breasts.
Daphne wears a pale green halter top with forest green trimmings exposing a small portion of her midriff, over the top of which she is often seen wearing a white, knee-length lab coat. The lab coat itself is decorated with hot pink buttons, and behind each sleeve cuff are two, pale pink loops, which, on either side, also feature hot pink buttons.
Daphne wears a pale, pink-ish mini skirt, which is fastened around her waist with a small, bright yellow button. On her feet, Daphne wears white flip-flops. Daphne completes her look by wearing a white, Boss of the Plains hat, upon which the strap is a pale pink and, like much of her other attire, is decorated with hot pink buttons. The hat itself sports an intriguing design; rather than a normal crown, the crown of the hat is shaped rather similar to a cat's ears.
Currently, she was burning down a random village as she attacked it using her inventions of the magic bioengineered Lizardman. Artificial Lizardman is a humanoid lizard-like creature artificially created by Daphne as her version of the Lizardman.
Artificial Lizardmen have narrow snouts with sharp teeth and white eyes. They have two sets of triangular spikes covering their head up to their long tails. A single spike can be seen sprouting out of their chin. When an Artificial Lizardman mimics an opponent, they sometimes mimic their appearance as well. They overall resemble the Crocodile Lizardmen, having gray scales instead.
Daphne created Artificial Lizardmen to collect information about other people. These Lizardmen can collect data regarding a person's fighting style by mimicking them with their [Copy] ability.
[Copy] is used by the Artificial Lizardmen as they are designed to be able to adapt to match the attributes of their opponents. However, copies are not as powerful as their opponents.
As of this time, Daphne was busy creating data from the Lizardman as she ordered them to destroy a village to see how they respond and react as she views everything at a distance keeping herself hidden using the spell [Hidden].
Daphne is sadistic by nature as she fantasies that she could it could be fun if she would have in destroying Magnolia. She is also a true narcissist, believing herself a genius and mocking her opponents at each chance possible as well as has no qualms or morals and will do anything to complete her research, even toying with others' lives.
As she decided on a whim to get more research for her Lizardman improvements as she responds to herself writing a checkboard of the notes, "I see the Artificial Lizardman is improving the best this far of their adaptability of skills. Their [Copy] ability is going well at the rate it's going and this village has brought valuable research for my search – Heh?"
Daphne was collecting data from afar as she saw a creature in the sky completely unrecognizable to any wildlife inside the Kingdom of Fiore as she views a person drop down into the village that is burning down as people run away from the attack.
Blinking at this Daphne saw the unknown beast resembling a wyvern as she writes down on her notes what to do in a situation as she smiles at this, "Oh… I never such a creature before but it does resemble a wyvern… no matter it's not like they can find me anyway."
Unaware Hinata clones sent out looking for the person who cause the attack and turned the people into shadows managed to find where Daphne was as it will take her some time to reach up to her…

*Boom*
Slamming onto the ground hard Tatsumi finally managed to get himself on the scene as he coldly glares at the Lizardman as some groups of defenders as well as a few mages come off to fight them off.
The citizens try to run away but were getting cut off by them getting killed off, eaten, or beaten to death.
But the some were caught with the attention with Tatsumi appearance as one of the Lizardman came out to attack bearing its fangs as one of the defenders of the city shout out to him, "QUICK YOU KID –"
*Shing*
But with a slash attack too quick to respond Tatsumi quickly the head of the Lizardman fell off as it was decapitated by his sword [Pain] as more Lizardman came up as he smirked at this, "So these things can copy people's abilities and fighting styles huh? Let's see how good they are..."
*SWOOSH*
Vanishing from his spot the Artificial Lizardman couldn't respond fast enough as all of their heads had been chopped off as a clean slash mark is shown.
Swinging his blade to the side as it cleaned out the blood of the Lizardman the defenders of their village looked completely shocked at the scene as Tatsumi responds to them, "Hey! Hurry up and help the citizens they're getting slaughtered here and go help them! I'll take it from here go!"
With that Tatsumi left to quickly take on the group of rampaging Lizardman as the guards of their village sighed and followed suit as they spoke, "Sigh… another strong kid helping us. First, that girl looking for her brother and then this guy coming out from the sky taking them out. We're really lucky this time to a wizard and a mercenary here sigh…"
