Chapitre 49: Chapter 49: Open Challenge
~Third POV~
The news all over at the middle school in Osaka went viral to the news as they censor the picture of Kai being wedgie in public along with his face expressed pain as the police began to research the area.
"Hahaha!! Now that right there is funny shit!!"
Although one hero found the event funny was the Rabbit Hero: Mirko as she found the situation of what happened to Kai funny to her seeing his situation. Mirko works in Hiroshima her birthplace home as a hero.
Rumi has an athletic build with muscular arms and legs, who stands slightly below average height. Rumi has dark skin, red eyes which are tilted slightly inwards, long eyelashes, and straight white hair reaching down past her waist.
On her head, she has a pair of long white rabbit ears pointing upwards with a slight crook. Along with these, she also has a white round tail, which gives her overall design a definite resemblance to an albino rabbit.
Her hero costume consists of a sleeveless white leotard with dark purple trim around her shoulders and waist, a wide, yellow crescent moon design over her chest, and a single thick metal plate wrapped around her midriff.
She wears purple thigh-high boots to compliment her leotard, with more plating around the heel and toe areas, making her feet look like those of a rabbit. She also has a pair of thick white gloves on her hands with long cuffs, sporting small triangular protrusions around their edges.
Hiroshima, a modern city on Japan's Honshu Island, was largely destroyed by an atomic bomb during World War II. Today, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park commemorates the 1945 event.
In the park are the ruins of Genbaku Dome, one of the few buildings that were left standing near ground zero. Other prominent sites include Shukkei-en, a formal Japanese garden, and Hiroshima Castle, a fortress surrounded by a moat and a park.
But to the fandom of heroes, it was where the 6th Pro Hero Mirko patrols in the area as she uses her hero office as a means to get the news of a villain attack.
As she was viewing the tv screen she sees that the news changed again to show the Shie Hassaikai Compound as a news reporter began to speak, "Also even more breaking news we have live footage of the newest elusive team of villains we have seen up to date. The new villains that the public calls the Shinobi of Day Raid has launched a complete attack in the as you know it the day."
Mirko for her part sees the fight happening at the front entrance as she views how they fight as one big man was suddenly immobilized by one of the members pinpointing their muscles locking him in place.
And another seems to be a speedster as she goes to rush two of them tried to fight one was using barriers and another was using fist as she recognized that person in shock, "Hold the phone that's Rappa! Well, I'll be damn haven't seen him since that incident with that mask party so that' where he been huh?"
She continues to see the screen while eating her favorite cereal carrot corn flakes the taste of carrots and corn combines to make flakes part of your morning breakfast.
Although she is more impressed with the ninja girl using petals easily surpassing the two with speed as she quickly moves around the two and missing being trapped by the barriers till the two were knocked down by her big scythe.
That was when the news crew from their point of view in the sky began to comment from the sky what was happening, "We have seen it all folks these Shinobis have been beating these goons of the Yakuza without much effort oi! Lookie here ladies and gentlemen we have another one with a sword drawn facing more of their men!"
That was when Mirko saw another member with a sword as she dashes towards the group of men as they used their quirks or guns to stun the swordswoman impressing the girl's guts. That was when her eyes were wide seeing that all the attacks hit but slash attacks blocked them all at impossible speeds.
Mirko wasn't able to see the slash as it was too fast to react, but the attacks of the goons were easily deflected as if it was nothing but then came a sword attack at the goons drawing blood making Mirko frown at that.
While she's used to beating villains there was an extent used as to not punish them too far. If a hero does this often then they are often called into question by the HSPC of their mental health being a danger to society.
She does this but not as brutally to villains only your usual beat up and done kind of deal, but she could tell that girl just liked to inflict pain as she wipes the blood off her sword easily just admiring it.
*Swoosh*
That was when the news crew saw that multiple bodies were being thrown outside the building as they comment on the scene in shock, "Whoa! Look here folks we have ourselves another fucking Ninja as he throws out more than 20 people outside the building. From the looks of things, they are knocked out and… Oh! Wait we have a hero coming to the scene!"
"Roar…!"
From the noise, Mirko knows who that roar is as she grins at the scene from her hero's office as she comments on who it is, "Damn, and here I thought it was going to get boring! I see that dragon Tatsuma hasn't lost her touch but those villains are screwed now."
In the scene the Dragon Hero: Ryukyu has appeared as a large, winged dragon with pale gray scales, although she still has the same skin tone, hair, and eyes. Her hero costume remains visible bar her boots and the claws that were on her face have transferred to her right hand.
She made her appearance as her Day Raid took her notice seeing her appear as the news crew began to speak already declaring victory of Ryukyu, "Here we have its folks we have the day to be saved by the Dragon! How climatic that the Shinobi –"
*BOOM*
But what happens next shocks, everyone, at home as the one transformed into a lion quirk suddenly went up and slammed a hit on Ryukyu on the sky as the slamming impact of the shinobi fist hit hard on the dragon face.
Before she could retaliate the shinobi continued slamming his fist to her head as the audience didn't know that the shinobi was using [Mach Punch] with his hands turned shiny black increasing the damage as the dragon hero Ryukyu tried to shake him off.
As she continued to try to get rid of the shinobi bashing her head repeatedly another one soon came to attack changing her scythe to what seemed to be a rifle till…
*BANG*
A loud gunshot was heard as the bullet managed to easily pierce through the dragon scales like it was nothing as they didn't stop till the dragon hero couldn't do anything to block it.
The assault from the two continued as Ryukyu tried to fight back with close range but the shinobi took their chance to get away as they moved some distance except for the lion one bashing her head as it continued to bleed.
Ryukyu tried to move the lion shinobi by bashing him to the wall but always moved away to a different part of her body to hit as the nails seems to stick to her body despite her tough scales as it was treated like butter as it made Ryukyu be in pain.
*Swoosh*
But finally, Ryukyu managed to get the shinobi off her as she was about to slam him to the wall, but the news reporter made an open comment on what happened next, "Oh my god! This ninja just changes the wall! How many quirks does this man have!"
Just as the news reporter says on the news the shinobi suddenly touched the wall as it began to disassemble and reassemble into a fist of stone slamming into the dragon as it continued to attack like that jumping as he land on the walls and out with a hit and run tactics.
The fight kept on like this for the next 5 minutes before the dragon hero couldn't take it anymore…
*Thud*
The sound of a large dragon as she was profusely bleeding from her sides made everyone stop in their tracks with clear shock written on their faces. The usual hero saves the day thing didn't happen as the dragon hero was taken down through teamwork and coordination of the villains to get a victory.
Every one of the citizens was in a word shocked because the Dragon Hero: Ryukyu was one of the top 11th heroes right next to the 10 but that was abruptly ended with her defeat live on the footage.
The news crew that was up in the sky stood there in shock as they didn't know how to respond to the scene in front of them, "What… what just happened? Wasn't the hero supposed to win here what – Hey!"
That was when the one that was a lion changed back to normal again then secretly used [Shambhala] to teleport away from the scene as everyone was surprised at how they escape and knew how.
The heroes could only look more pathetic in the public eyes as not only have they seen one of their members defeat Endeavor in a one-on-one fight on live television but they also see how the 11th Pro Hero Ryukyu was taken down in minutes.
But the fact they escaped and do as they pleased stung the most because if they can get away like that how exactly would they stop the guy teleporting away to safety.
That was when the final piece of information of news began to circulate from the news fee they saw as the news crew from the sky began to speak before signing out, "Well there folks there seems to be a way how these villains escape… By gods please someone call the ambulance we have a hero down and multiple people injured quickly come to help!"
Mirko on her part narrows her eyes as she sees Day Raid as cowards for using teamwork to defeat Ryukyu but also going this far harming a hero like herself. She grits her teeth as she began to dress out wearing her Hero Costume in the process.
As she leaves her Hero Office she begins to go towards the last news sight on Osaka as she runs ahead to capture villains.

~Tatsumi POV~
Ok taking care of Kai goons and opening up their secret torture room as well as force the police to come in their direction. All of that was according to plan.
Especially the sudden hero dragon coming out of nowhere. Seriously what was she even doing here anyway at the Yakuza base?
But frankly, I didn't get the chance to change as I can't use two teigu's at once yet but dealing with grunts was easy enough. [Conqueror Haki] was certainly enough for the people inside and using [Lionel] was certainly easy to get by.
Plus the pictures of their secret base and the technology I got from them with the flip phone will probably make the police act if not then Nighteye will have an excuse to search the place.
Good thing I had some material on hand to use the land to my advantage using [Overhaul] quirk but man I need to get used to it though, maybe some practice would be nice. Although I could use some practice using [Overhaul] I managed to get the hero's eyes on Osaka.
I wonder how many heroes are going to show… for now though, how about I try to see if the heroes will come over soon but the best bet majority of them will come to Osaka. This is the best time to pick up where the other heroes are to show up.
The best we can do is wait and see if our targets came over to see.
