Chapitre 4: Boogeyman of the Past
Luke walks into the former Jedi temple in coruscant. It is now a museum and mausoleum for the Jedi. They depict the Jedi as a coward who betrayed the chancellor and push him to become the empire.
Luke looks at one of the Holograms and sees the face of Mace Windu. It says he is the most cowardly of them all, nearly killing the chancellor for power in the middle of the clone wars. This betrayal forced him to act on order 66.
The robot who guided him also says so. When they arrive at a door the guide starts explaining various facts about it. It says that behind the door is a secret and archive of the Jedi that only a Jedi knew how to open. They say they already try many times but fail to do so.
The robot suddenly looks around. It can't find Luke and ask himself where he goes. It walks away that one of its parts needs fixing or something. The night comes at the former Jedi temple. Luke falls and lands on their feet in front of the door. He opened the book and we could see that the book had a picture of the door with words we couldn't read. Luke then touches the door and gets inside the room.
Inside he takes one look at all the knowledge that the Jedi have gathered there. A few of the Holocron after he is opening one and comes out Anakin, his father still young and teaching the third form and showing it. Then suddenly one catches his eyes. One is filled with the force that he feels like someone is pulling his hand and attention toward it. Someone is showing up, a Jedi Master with gray hair and a thin almost grey beard.
"This Master Jedi Dooku. After chasing down Sith in the outer rim I have found an Unusual phenomenon. After a few chases, I can't risk my padawan. So I take on a peacekeeping mission. It's been a long time since a few of these phenomena come to my attention. That a ship is there yet it's not. I investigated this more until one day while protecting the locals from a few pirates, I feel someone is out there watching. I look into it far to the star and right there I use the force to move a little asteroid a little chunk of it. The asteroid then suddenly moved courses nearly back toward our direction. I ask the captain to check and scan the area but there is nothing on the scanner. I look in the same direction and see a bit of thruster come out of nowhere, and by the time I ask the other to look. It's already gone. I wish to tell the council of this information but considering how they react toward my friend Sifo-Dyas's vision... I digress"
Silence takes over the room where Luke is in till Master Dooku continues in his Holocron.
"So I take this into my own hand. I search and search with my one and only padawan. After a few months of searching, using the force we managed to stumble a ship. It's refueling attaching itself to an asteroid. My padawan insisted that I take him with me, but I ordered him to stay at the ship considering the danger he isn't ready to face. I slowly and surely used a jetpack and helmet closing in on the ship. I touch the outer layer of the ship. Its exterior is mushi and only half of it looks like a machine. I never saw a technological advancement such as this. I manage to cut an opening and enter the ship. Immediately I was attacked by these monster people with gray skin, deep white eyes, and tapered skulls. Their weapon is on another level, their armor hard as pure beskar yet they look biological. I almost never escape. I manage to kill three out of four of them. I then corner the last one as he says to me that our strength is weak and his people are powerful. He says that their people are even gonna make us beg for sweet relief from death. It makes me raise my voice asking him who his people are. Well, they are far from the unknown of the galaxy, they are the Yuuzhan Vong…" Luke's eyes widen hearing the species name.
"... afterward he set the ship to explode, I barely managed to escape and get back to my Padawan. Forgive me, Master Yoda, I failed you. I never felt such strong emotions since I was a child. With great shame I must confess, I feel afraid." The Holocron stops as Luke walks away from it and realizes he needs to find another Holocron. It shows Master Yoda and Mace Windu, " Beyond troubling, it is what Dooku finds. Beyond Troubling". Master Windu next to him says "it is my friend, we have been sending drones toward the stars of the galaxy." Master Yoda understandably nods " it means we will know when a large sum of them is approaching. Prepare for invasion, we must"
As the Holocron continues. A beeping sound attracted his attention. A machine suddenly turns on itself. It looks like a map of the galaxy and near the outer rim, dots of red emerge, become bigger, and multiply as it gathers. Luke's face looks shocked, he then drops the Holocron. He then takes the two Holocron and the device storms out of the room.
