ANGELINE sat quietly in the board meeting in the conference room. Next to her was Jacob's grandmother Madam Alecia and beside her was her grandmother.

And she was surprised to see Elda in the boardroom, taking the meeting minutes. She glanced at her once, and most of the woman's eyes were on her husband and smiling sweetly at him when Jacob asked for anything.

"Grandma, I thought Ethan would be with us at the meeting?" She whispered to the old business tycoon.

"Jacob told me a while ago that he could not make it. Your Uncle Philip needs him in his office, "Madam Alecia explained. "You realize later on why I want you in this meeting."

"Ugh. I'd instead get some hour of sleep, Nana, "she muttered drowsily.

"You'll get it after the meeting, but I want you to listen to what was going on, young lady."
