"Let me go. I said I'm sorry…." She was begging but followed by her laughter.

Suddenly, he stopped and gazed at her.

"I like the sound of your laughter," he said while taking away the strands of the hair from her face.

She swallowed, speechless of the way he was gazing at her. She could not move. Without a word, he bent and captured her lips in a punishing way, but it didn't take long. The kiss changed to fervent became more profound and hotter when she responded with equal passion.

Angeline's hands glided to her husband's neck, making his kiss deeper and demanding. She moaned with pleasure. Her hand tightened on his nape.

"Angeline…" he rasped. He was trying to control himself and chasing his breath. Their gaze locked. "We'd better stop while I can…" he whispered.

Jacob rolled to her side, pulling her with him. Her head on his chest, a little bit gasping. They were quiet for a while, but they were both aware of their heart beating fast.
