Chapitre 3: #2 New Morning
The morning comes, the sun has shine, and the sound of a pan frying the eggs is sizzling. A new peaceful days for Cade Valentine is arrive. He cook the eggs for two and prepare the other breakfast menu for his grand new morning. A joy filled smile carved on his face. This kind of morning feels like a dream for him.
"Ah.... what a beautiful morning. A little sound of radio may won't bother." he said in happy tone.
Cade press the activation button, the radio is began to play a rather calming music for the perfect morning. He then put rice on the plate and put them on the dining table. Not long after, the eggs is ready. He put the salt and pepper after the sunny side up is cooked well. Together with chicken nuggies he cooked earlier, he put them all neatly beside the white rice. A little pinch of parsley, he decorate the breakfast plate beautifully.
Breakfast meal he made for his grand new morning may not look that luxurious but he put all his joy into his dish and make it very special. It cause he knew that the prefect morning is not all about expensive things but an honest joy came from deep within his heart. It's not right to be upset in the morning cause it just make their day worst even further.
The clock is showing 7.30 am. A perfect number to start breakfast and live the day. Not long after he look at the clock, his Servant of Light then showed up while rubbing her eyes. She yawn peacefully like she experience a very beautiful dream in her sleep.
"Good morning, Nera. How's your sleep ?" greet him.
"*Yawn* your bed is fluffy." respond her while still half asleep. "So..... I sleep again as soon as I awake."
This girl is Gatto Nera. Cade named her after a few days living together in a wilderness and found out that her habit is almost similar as a cat. A fluffy long black hair, pointing ears, and sharp eyes she had is forcing him to named her like that. Coincidentally, Cade once raise a black cat just like her but now its nowhere to be found.
"Don't be like that. Sleeping after waking up in the morning is bad for your health." preach Cade.
"Ookay...." response her like she was ignore his advice.
"But before that."
While she pull the dining chair, Cade stop her and make her raise his head up. Cade pulled out something from the kitchen drawer. It is a white small cardboard box fit on Cade's hand. The box is perfectly shaped and look elegant, it makes her curious for what inside.
"What's that ?" ask Nera.
Then Cade open the neatly shaped box and showed her what's inside. Inside, there's a black slim rectangle shaped gadget on the front and elegant bisque color on the back. Gatto Nera doesn't know what it is which make her even curious until the point where she could twitch both of her ears, feeling excited.
"A smartphone. Most people use it to gain information, communicating from a very long distances, and even entertain themselves using it. Few people gain money from it but that's a rare case." Cade explain.
"So you trying to make me using a pathetic gadget created by humans?" Nera turned down. "No thanks. You have my gratitude but I have my own ways."
"It's okay just take it. It could help your disguise to blend with other human, right ?" Cade suggest.
"Uuummm.... if you insist. Guess I'll hold it for a while now." she frown her faces.
"You'll like it. I promise."
Then, after Nera take the phone, she jump and sit on the dining chair. She pulled the plate, putting her phone on her side, then she's ready to take her breakfast. Fork on her left hand and spoon on her right hand, she cut the egg and eat it together with the rice. The same goes for Cade Valentine, he enjoy his breakfast while sometimes he sip his fragrant blue tea beside his plate.
And that's how Cade Valentine start his new peaceful lives. This is the beginning where he doesn't know what was happened when he gone for five years long. An eyes who always observe the city now has take interest on him. The one who fated to died five years ago has come from his coffin and showed up silently. Making the man in shadow want to take full control of him.
Still, they doesn't recognize the one who always beside him.

Green Hemimorphite is the city where both of them live and live their new happy life. A cub city where not much people lives and not few either. A city where they can enjoy their happy life to the fullest and not much of disturbance. But that's the story before the past five years.
In the night, where the sun finally drowned and the moon rise bringing the faint light from inside the darkness, a monster who take the human form lurking around and look for its prey. The city couldn't rest well in the night and couldn't ease when they leave their beloved ones alone far from their protection. But that's only take effect to whom already feel the despair from that monster. People who's yet to recognize the monster mostly ignore the horror from that monster. It's because the monster is good at hiding its own crime.
The monster took its prey by cruelly eating them until there's nothing left. But somehow, there's no evidence left after the monster take an action. The victim is completely gone like they were erased from this world. The fact someone who tell about the monster is eating the victim is just a vague assumption. No one really know how the monster take its victim.
But one thing people know for sure, the victim is always letting out their scream and then it goes away like there were nothing from the start.
Back in the night where Cade Valentine and Gatto Nera first arrival, the monster also doing its dirty job inside the shadow of the night. A girl running away from fear. She run aimlessly while death atmosphere surrounds her like a clouds. Her eyes getting wet, her mouth frowned in fear, thus she tremble so much.
When she turn her head, the monster is gone. For a second, she stopped and look for her surroundings, then she started to run again. She wanted to scream so bad but she can't for unknown reasons. An evil energy surround her mouth and make her unable to speak. Horror feeling overwhelm her body and swallow her whole.
Gatto Nera's right ear twitching unreasonably. Suddenly, her left side head feels so heavy like she could feel the evil energy around. Her right eyes suddenly changed, it moved unconsciously which even Gatto Nera doesn't aware that her right eyes has turn around. She walks and talk like there's nothing happen.
A black shadow crawled in a high speed from Gatto Nera's shadow. It observe and approach the area where the poor girl is being chased. The shadow finally reach the place, it stand and stare the girl poor face. And as she started to die, the shadow smiled.
"HELP MEEEE !!!" Scream the poor girl.
The girl's skin suddenly peeled off, her bones came out from her body. Slowly, the girl's body and outfit is melt. It looks like the girl's body and outfit is being vacuumed and consumed by a sphere filled with an infinite force. The monster smiled, it mumble a very disgusting sentence after killing its victim.
The shadow of Gatto Nera's is also laughed but very faint. The monster immediately notice it. It observe its surrounding and found nothing. The shadow escaped very fast like there were nothing from the beginning. It came to Gatto Nera's body and reside like there's nothing has happened. But the monster knew, it sense the shadow inside Gatto Nera's body. It then wait patiently for the perfect time to consume her.
Thus the morning came. Gatto Nera and Cade Valentine took breakfast together. Once, she look at the smartphone Cade gave her earlier. But before she finishes her breakfast, she reluctant to touch the smartphone and ignore it as much as possible.
"That was the best one I've ever get. Sorry, I am done before you." Cade stand up then put the dirty plate in the sink and wash it along with his hand.
"It's fine, I am enjoying my meal." but then, she frown her forehead, "Hey, Cade. You said that I could gain information from this thing, right ?"
"Ah, you mean the smartphone ? Yes."
"Then.... could you tell me how to use it after I finish my breakfast ?"
"Yes, of course. I even gladly to tell you how to play the games inside the smartphone."
"REALLY ! Why don't you tell me earlier." Nera getting pumped up. She's excited then vigorously eating the food like a man who's yet to eat after five years.
"Yes yes but please eat your meal calmly again."
The sun has rise, bringing a new day from that terrifying night. Nobody yet to realize the crime the monster has done. Somewhere in the city, that monster is taking a sip of a coffee in this beautiful morning while reading today's brand new newspaper.
It put the empty glass of coffee then stand to pay the price of the coffee. The monster leave the cafe and goes to work. While walking peacefully to the office, he breath the calming air around the peaceful town. Smile of joy smirks on his face, enjoying the beautiful morning without any worries.
