The higher ups from the School City are talking about one thing. It's about the new things that the Freelancer Monokami Kiryo have gotten on another world.
It's been a week since then, and many research focused factions were drooling at the things that she got from that world.
New species, new type of magical energies, and many more are now the focus of the many organizations of this city. It is even rumored that the Black Market and other criminal organizations are planning for a wide scale raid just to acquire a few samples.
The Genome Academy has taken the initiation and made a collaboration with the Central Section Operatives. This academy is known for being concentrated on knowledge, so it is appropriate and obvious that they will be the one that the Administrative Officer will Collab with.
Thanks to all of this many organizations taking interest with this, Monokami Kiryo is currently brimming with cash. It's a lot that she didn't know what to do with it.
Not knowing what to do, she decided to call her Sensei for help.
"Yes. Please meet me at the usual restaurant. Yes... thank you...!"
A small smile graces her lips as she heard the person behind the call accepting her invitation.
After the call ends, she quickly looks at herself in the mirror before deciding to tidy herself a bit. So she goes to the bathroom to clean herself and put some more effort on making herself presentable.
As for going back to that world. She already told the guy that she will take a break for now and will come back later. The guy easily accepted her reasons so she thinks it's fine.
He did say it is voluntary whether she goes there or not, so she will use that to have some breaks here from time to time.

The streets of the Commercial District 64 is truly prosperous. There are many highrise buildings and crowds going from here or there. Worker droids were cleaning the streets while cars moves neatly without any blockage to the streets.
She is sitting on a chair that acts as a waiting shed, waiting for the person that she invited. Her clothes are still the same, though it is a new batch and she have made sure to put on some perfume just for this occasion.
As she looks at the time on her thin tablet and twiddled her thumbs for a bit, she heard someone getting near. She look at it and her eyes lit up in excitement seeing the person she is looking for, before it became dull as she saw some girls following behind him.
"Ya-hoo! Your still as cute as ever Kiryo-chan!" It is one of the students of Pantheon. It is Kurokawa Megumi.
"... What are they doing here?" She asked with a neutral tone. Deep within her, she felt disappointed not being able to spend time with the guy alone.
"Sorry. We were just going to the Daylight Izakaya, but we found Sensei walking alone so we decided to tag along." Megumi's classmate, Ichinose Himiko, said to her with an apologetic expression, her hands clasped and is asking for forgiveness.
"So what's the occasion?" Another girl, Kaisatsu Kuroe, asked with a laid-back tone.
"... It's nothing. I just wanted to consult with Sensei about some minor thing."
"Well, if you are going to talk to him, why don't we find a place to sit and have something to eat along the way?" Another girl, Otonashi Miyako, suggested.
Kiryo felt a bit miffed seeing them just inviting themselves to their trip. She didn't want to say it outright because she is not that angry, just irritated.
She is friends with these four. These four are part of a very desolate school known as the Pantheon. She can admit that all of them are strong enough to deal with some threats, and they are decent enough that she can call them as best friends.
But that still doesn't change the fact that they are currently ruining her plans for this day. That is being alone with her Sensei.
"Why don't we go to the Daylight Izakaya? It's a bit far in this place, but it's the usual hangout for us."
She looks at the guy that she fell through and quickly nodded at his suggestion. It is her Sensei, and he might be plain looking, but he have this mysterious charisma that just causes him to be attractive.
Even the other four girls nodded at his suggestion.
With that, they decided to go to their usual hangout.

Daylight Izakaya is a popular place that is part of the Pantheon District. It is the only restaurant from this district, so it is popular to the people living here.
The food served here are very delicious, so even other patrons from the other districts visits this place just to have a taste of their menu.
The five makes themselves comfortable on their seats and they take their orders.
"Wow! So you will treat us to food! That's so nice of you Kiryo-chan!~" Megumi gushes.
As to why she is doing this, it is because the only guy along with them suggested for her to treat them to a meal. She have asked him what can she do with her money so it is the suggestion that he gave.
"Still, this is surprising. You managed to get this big!" Kuroe said as she leaned on her seat in a lazy manner.
"I am just lucky that William-sama's door chose me."
"Ah... I would like to be chosen too!" Miyako said on the side, imagining the amount of money that she can get and anything she can do with it.
"By the way, you said that Foxtrot person can connect to other dimensions other than us."
"Yes."
"Can you tell us more about them!" Megumi leaned over to her with her eyes shining in excitement.
"Of course."
With that, she told them about the two otherworlders that were chosen by the door other than her. She made sure not to say the part that the Central Section Operatives told her not to and just go over the explanations that she can reveal.
Her own perception of them is a bit biased because she have only met them for a week.
Elio is a serious child who seems to have a strong sense of righteousness. It seems like she have a strong hatred against evil people or stuffs.
Merzalfit is someone she can't get a grasp on. The woman is mysterious, and acts erratically. It's like she is both serious and goofy at the same time, and it is causing her to stumble out of her own pace.
William told her that the witch is very dangerous. He said that she is capable of deleting them, along with the whole city with just her words alone. So she is being a bit careful.
She have already told this to her Sensei, and also the representatives of Polygon Squad, which is the main faction overseeing the Genome Academy. They are her point of contact since the collaboration to get to the higher executives and the Administrative Officer.
They told her to be very careful and try to take her distance from the dangerous witch, though if it is possible, they ask her if she can take at least a DNA sample of that witch.
She knows they will use it for some behind the scenes experiment, but that is a common occurrence on the underground side of this city so she is not that bothered.
Unless it affects her daily life and her bonding with her friends and her Sensei, she will just do her work and obey the higher ups.
"There is someone like that in that place? Now I feel a bit uncertain whether I wanted to go there..." Miyako said.
"There is no need to worry about it. I'm the only one chosen by the door in this world." She said with a shrug.
"Let's stop talking about this. Look, the food are coming right now. Let's eat first!" Kuroe interrupted them with a laid-back posture.
Most of them are amused before they decided to focus on the meal being placed on their table one by one.
"""Itadakimasu!"""
They ate their fill, deciding to shelved their conversation for later.

While that is happening, on another world, there exists a kingdom of light. This kingdom is the Queen's Kingdom.
Within the Tavern, Elio is sitting along with her fellow heroes.
The people here have already defeated the many entities threatening the light of their kingdom. They are just on standby and making merry for the continued peace of this kingdom.
Only Elio is troubled by a fact. The new factor that is the other world.
As a hero chosen by the Heromaker, it is her duty to accept the request of everyone who asks for it and defeat evil in her path. That's the life of those chosen by the Heromaker.
She sighs as she remembers the witch staying on the guild.
That witch is strong. She can feel it at her very being.
If she is asked who she can compare it to, then she will say that the witch is like the Demon King. A strong evil entity capable of encroaching the world in his darkness.
Despite having a different magical signature, she have the same presence as those evil beings. It is making her skin crawl just by being besides that person.
"Hey! You look to be deep in your thoughts!"
She has been taken out of her musings by one of her companions. This one is a comrade who also fought the evil forces along with her.
"So. What is it? Is it about that other world that only you can enter?" The guy, Sieg, asked her with a lighthearted tone.
"Isn't that obvious?" She said with a snort. "I don't know what to make of that world. It's too complicated for me!" She said with an exasperated sigh.
"Haha... I thought your someone who can't express herself other than that bored look. Didn't thought I'll see you sighing like that!"
"Leave me alone!" She said while feeling irritated.
"Whoops! My bad!" He scratches behind his blonde hair.
"If you have nothing helpful to say, then just leave me alone."
He gave a good natured laugh at her face before finally stopping and raising his hand.
"Okay, okay!" He takes the time to cough before leaning his elbow on the table, his head leaning on his hand. "Did you ask the Heromaker about this. Maybe you should ask some advice from him."
"I have already asked, and he said that he can't do anything about it. The only help I can get is if the Queen herself blessed me with her graces, or the Divine Blacksmith made some legendary weapons for me."
"That's tough. The Divine Blacksmith is currently inactive because there is no world ending threat anymore and the Queen is busy with running this country." Sieg said with a shrug.
"I know. So there is nothing to be done other than to wait for them to approve my request."
There is also the reason that the threat of evil is on another world and it can't reach the kingdom. So their motivation is not that high, and their priority is more on this world than the ones on the other.
Even if the threat of evil is gone, there are still some important that the people must do to maintain this peace. It includes rebuilding the destroyed civilization and restoring the lost population of this world.
"It's a good thing you haven't gotten married yet. You can still move around freely without being shackled with a family." Sieg said.
Sieg has already taken two wives due to their obligation to sire more children for the next generation. It is their duty to repopulate after all. They can only do this because the threat of destruction is not here anymore.
"I am waiting for the Heromaker's edict. It's up to him whether he will give me his seed or be wed to another." Elio said.
She is not bothered by that fact. The Heromaker is the one who dictates the fate of this kingdom. He is the prophesied son of the light, so every authority of this kingdom is up to him.
"Anyway. I only came to meet my old friends. I have to come back to my post later to sustain my family."
"Yeah, just go..." She said with a wave of her hands.
Sieg smiled at her before leaving with a small wave of his hand. Then she is left alone, along with the others who are just making merry.
".... Hah... I am really confused what to do with her..." She muttered to herself, remembering the face of that witch once more.
Despite being heavily attuned to evil, she is somehow more reasonable than most evil forces that she have met. She is a bit malicious, but she only annoys people and just scare them without really continuing it.
She knows the witch can do what she is threatening them that she can do, but she haven't done that even when they are being extremely rude and hostile to her. She just takes it in stride and annoys them more with her pointed and irritating words.
It's like she haven't even seen them as a threat and is just there on a vacation.
Normally, those from the evil forces will attack those attuned to light. It's a universal law on this world and haven't changed since time immemorial.
"That world is truly complicated..." She mutters to herself in frustration.
After drinking the cup of ale that she has been holding for awhile now, she stood up and left her payment on the table.
Unlike Kiryo, she didn't ask for a break. For her, it is her duty to help the guy because he asked her for it. It is a common duty of a hero.
"I hope that wench didn't do anything." She mutters to herself.
She goes to a certain room on the tavern and go straight to the door that leads to another world.
