I was seated in the principals office as we waited for them to arrive. She didn't say anything more after calling for them, she diverted her attention to some papers on her table, reading them. Since it'd be rude to use my phone in her office, I spent my time reading the messages on the posters around her office.

About five minutes later, the door creaked open and Gabriel dashed in and I immediately regretted saying his name to her. It was obvious from the way he walked that his stomach was hurt. He was not only in pain because of my boyfriend but was also heartbroken because of me yet I mentioned his name to her knowing fully well that she would seek his presence.

I flashed a smile at him as he walked closer convening how grateful I was and he smiled back.
