Chapitre 34: You Are No Longer Pregnant!
Kotori hovered over the toilet and vomit excessively. She walked towards the sink to freshen up for her follow-up appointment as she stared at her reflection in the mirror. Her skin was pale, and it was this continuous ache in her abdominal painkillers couldn't fix. It was hard to keep her posture around her. She opened the door and stepped out of the bathroom. The sight of him made her heart race this painful and makes her heartache.
She stared at the couple in front of her awkwardly in the hallway heading in her direction. She heard them laughing and the two looked very much in love as they walked past her like she didn't exist.
" How foolish am I? I still love you even knowing that you left me for someone else, only if you were the one by my side." She thought to herself and watched them walk away into the distance. She lowered her eyes and headed in the opposite direction.
" Madam. You will be late for your appointment the vehicle is waiting for in in the front." The servant interrupted.
She took a deep breath and hesitated to speak as she corrected the servant who she grew to love like family." Please refrain from addressing me in such a manner and do not call me that name again, ever! I am not his legal spouse anymore the relationship was nothing besides a contract. I'm scheduled to move out before the divorce is finalized so endure the living arrangement for a little longer or I may move out sooner than expected."
" Madam, since I have been working for you I considered you as my sister. You know that you are the closest thing to family. My parents died in a car accident and now I am earning money to pay for my tuition. You have been nothing but nice to me--- I made an oath that I won't serve under anyone unless that it's you and one thing for certain, I can tell you that wrench Amelia is up to no good." The servant and took both of Kotori's hands."Mada—I mean, miss. I know how troubled you are about this situation but I see the way that you and the young master look at each other. You can fixed this if you just tell him your true feelings and that you love him."
" Yasu, I don't know what kind of fairytail you're imaging up in your head but I do not love Mr.Nakamaru. The sole purpose of the relationship is because I needed money and there's nothing more to it. --- You should mind your own business and stay in your place. You are just a servant and I think it's about time that you act like one" Kotori snatched her hands away and stormed out of the house. She clenched her fist and slightly grin her teeth together angrily. As much as she wanted to pour out her emotions and needed a shoulder to cry on, she couldn't.
"Madam! Come back!" Yasu, the servant shouted and chased after her but was disappointed to see a luxurious vehicle driving and Kotori was in the backseat.
Footsteps approached the servant.
"Good morning, Young Master." She turned around and stood firm on her feet as she bowed and lowered her head.
" What is with the commotion this morning?" He questioned with curiosity. "Especially on when I took my leave of absence from the company today—I don't want Amelia sleep interrupted. She is carrying my child after all."
" Madam. I mean, err miss," Yasu was careful of her choice of words. If he found out that she was meddling with his business, she knew without a doubt he would fire her." She was running late to her last appointment, and I got yelled at since I didn't wake up earlier."
" Doctor's appointment?" He raised his eye brown.
" Yes, to make sure that the termination of the pregnancy was successful." She spoke.
" Oh…." Kyosuke stood there in complete silence and for a second his eyes were filled with pain. He walked towards the table and picked up his cup and stared at the dark brown coffee. When it thought about her, it caused him great pain in his chest." I am disgusted with myself. I have done nothing but made her suffer. How come she didn't tell me? I wanted to be there for her unlike with the others… --- I did not expected for things to turn out this way all I want is for Kotori to be happy. At least, she will have fame and wealth. Hopefully, she can find true happiness without me in her life but why does that bother me? She s
" How come you not in bed? Are you okay?" Amelia rubbed her eyes and approached him for behind. She slightly wobbled with her hand resting on her stomach from the bedroom. " You said that you was going to dedicate the entire day to me! Was that a lie? Are you going to work?"
" I would never lie to you Amelia, you are the love of my life and now you are carrying my child. I swear to you, once the divorce finalized, I will marry you." He pulled her into a tight embrace and held her closely." I love you, Amelia."
" I love you too, Kyosuke" She laid her head on his chest comfortably and wrapped her arms around him.

The Private Clinic
" You are Kotori, correct?" The nurse asked with a clipboard in her hand and opened the door.
" Yes." She answered immediately and followed the lady to the backroom. She undressed and the ultrasound was conducted by the nurse.
" It looks like there isn't a sac anywhere." The nurse spoke and showed the screen. It was her first practice alone with a patient and did not have the slightest clue." I will need to draw your blood that is the most proficient way to make sure that the pregnancy isn't there."
Kotori could not stand needles and turned her head to the other side as she closed her eyes terrified and felt a tight pinch.
" 1….2…..3…..4…..5… -- and done! Just sit here tight while I sit sent this to the lab." The nurse said with the sample and walked out then the door closed behind her.
Kotori stared at the screen and memories washes over her like a cold scar.
The lab
The nurse mixed up the sample and received the results rather quickly.
" I think this one is Kotori's on Kyosuke's case." W
After a while, the nurse returned.
" You are no longer pregnant."
She was saddened and the room was filled with awkward silent.

Kotori stood in front of the villa and watched the couple through the window. She lifted her head up and looked at the sky as she reached her hand up towards the stars." I can't touch you and your not turning back to me just moving forward with Amelia." She sighs deeply then her arm fell down to her side. "Living under the same roof as you was happiness. I want to go back to the passed when it was the just the two of us." She could feel love getting further apart/
As she turned her back the front door opened.
" Kotori, it's cold. Aren't you going come inside?"
She recognized his voice, and the scent of his cologne then turned her head at him. She could not stand the sight of him and turn away then said coldly." Please leave me alone."
