Chapitre 49: Fireplace
Caroline didn't want to look low in front of Alice. Especially if Alice finds out, that she was not allowed into the room by Carlos.
As soon as possible Caroline had to come up with an idea, to make Alice believe it.
"Oh, Alice! Don't be making this up! How could Carlos not let me in? Of course, that's impossible!" said Caroline in a spoiled voice.
"Oh yeah? But the couch looks a mess? Any blankets and pillows?" Alice glanced at the top of the stairs and saw the door to Carlos' room which was still closed. "And the bedroom door is still closed, huh? Are you sure you slept together last night with Carlos?" she sneered at Caroline.
Caroline stuttered a little, but she didn't want to show that panic. And try to look relaxed.
"Ah, well ... let me explain, Carlos is changing clothes, and I also just got out of the room. As for the messy sofa... I just forgot to clean it up. Yesterday afternoon Carlos and I just had a romantic tussle on the sofa that, you know, right? And I don't have to explain our hot scene to you!" said Caroline, smiling mischievously.
Alice just shook her head in surprise. She couldn't understand why she could be good friends with someone like Caroline in the first place.
"Well, I believe it! I'm also not surprised if you guys do obscene things wherever you want!
You bastard!" said Alice who looked indifferent. Meanwhile, Caroline seemed relieved that Alice believed her words, only she was annoyed that Alice didn't even care at all.
Caroline hoped that Alice would be annoyed and angry with her because she heard that she had just been making out with Carlos. But not.
"Where's your boyfriend? I need a little bit with him!" said Alice.
"I said he was in the room! What do you want?!" Caroline snapped.
"Hey, Carol! Don't yell at Alice!" snorted Felix who didn't accept it.
"Shut up, you! Don't interfere!" Caroline snorted at Felix.
"You bitch! Ignorant!" Felix cursed at Caroline.
"What did you say?!" Caroline also seemed annoyed with Felix's words.
But Alice tried to separate the two people.
"Stop! Stop! Don't make a fuss!" snapped Alice.
And not long after the bedroom door opened, then came Carlos who started down the stairs.
The man was surprised to see Felix and Alice, moreover, Caroline was also there. Carlos didn't know that Caroline had not come home since yesterday.
"What is this?" Carlos asked.
"Ah, great, you came too, Carlos! I want to pick up what I left behind, I hope you don't throw it away!" said Alice.
Meanwhile, Caroline looked scornful at Alice's words.
"Tch! At least it's just an excuse!" she muttered.
"Shut up!" snapped Felix. For a moment Caroline was silent, but her eyes bulged at Felix.
Meanwhile, Alice started to approach Carlos.
"Do you know the red jewelry box, which is made of velvet?" Alice asked Carlos.
Then the man nodded his head.
"I still save it!" Carlos replied, "Let me get it for you, Alice,"
"Ah, well I'll wait here, will you!" Alice answered.
Carlos turned around and went back into the room. Then he went downstairs again, with the item Alice was looking for.
"This thing, right?" Carlos asked for sure.
"Yes!" Alice replied with a happy smile. Then she immediately grabbed it.
Alice opened the box, and sure enough... the necklace she was looking for was inside.
"Thank God I've found it," Alice kissed the necklace, "I'll fix it again." Then Alice closed her jewelry box again and immediately said goodbye to Carlos.
"Okay, thanks, Carlos. You've kept my things well, now I want to go home, okay!" said Alice as she took Felix's hand.
"Come on, Felix!" Alice grabs Felix's hand.
"Wait!" said Carlos, then the man came closer, and removed Alice's hand from Felix's.
"What the hell?" snorted Felix. But Carlos didn't care.
"Alice, why the rush? Don't you want to chat with me for a bit?" Carlos asked.
"Ah, I don't think there is a topic of conversation. Besides, I don't want to disturb your intimacy," Alice replied, glancing at Caroline.
"You mean me and Caroline?" asked Carlos who was getting emotional.
"Of course! Well I'm going!" said Alice.
"Hey, wait, Alice! That Caroline and I are no longer in a relationship!" Carlos assured Alice.
"Oh, I see?" Alice sighed in exasperation. "Even if there is a relationship, it doesn't matter! After all, I don't care anymore! It's just that I hate your hypocrisy, Carlos!" Alice insisted.
"I'm not a hypocrite!" Carlos denied.
"Oh, yeah? But isn't living in the same house with another woman a good thing?" quipped Alice.
"I don't live in the same house with her either!" Carlos insisted.
"If you spend the night?"
"I didn't spend the night with her either!"
"Ah, never mind, Carlos! I don't care! I just want to live in peace, and let's live our own lives!" said Alice.
But Carlos didn't want to accept Alice's accusation.
Because he didn't spend the night with Caroline.
"Alice, I only love you! So please don't leave me..." Carlos whined.
"Tch! The love he said?" Alice smiled sinisterly.
"Yes! I love you so much! And I don't want to lose you again!" Carlos said.
"Throw away your bullshit, Carlos!" snapped Alice.
"I'm telling the truth! And what you saw today isn't as bad as you think, Alice!" said Carlos who kept reassuring Alice.
"Aish!" Alice hissed in annoyance, and she didn't want to care about Carlos anymore. Alice sauntered away with Felix.
The car started to drive, leaving Carlos' residence. Carlos was seen screaming trying to stop her. But it was no use, their car was getting further away.
Carlos didn't want to be left by Alice.
While Felix looked happy to see that. It turned out that Alice was a very firm figure.
She was completely unaffected by Carlos' sweet mouth.

After returning from Carlos' house, Alice and Felix stopped at a restaurant.
They unwind in that place. And looking for food to fill an already rumbling stomach.
While waiting for the order to arrive, the two of them chatted with each other.
"Alice, your eyes are starting to get dark circles, you're not getting enough sleep, aren't you?" Felix asked.
"Yes," Alice replied curtly.
"Why? You had another nightmare?"
"Ah ... to be more precise I was afraid of having another bad dream, so I decided not to sleep all night," Alice replied.
"Gosh! That's not good for health, Alice!" chirped Felix to Alice.
And here Alice began to tell all the dreams she had. Including the meeting with Sea and Clara.
"Felix, Sea, and Clara keep bugging me," Alice said.
"It was just a dream, Alice!" Felix said.
"Yeah, I know it's just a dream, but in that dream, they seem to want to show something,"
"And then?"
"Fireplace!" Alice answered.
"Fireplace?" Felix looked confused, "what's with the fireplace?"
"I don't know... but time and time again, Clara and Sea keep asking me to look at the fireplace," Alice answered.
