Chapitre 41: Forty-One

“Alexandra!” Lucinda shouted into the large room. “Has anyone seen Alexandra Fai-Black?”

“I’m here.” Alexandra answered running towards Lucinda followed by a blond boy with tan skin and deep blue eyes, Marcos Acardi.

“I have something for you to help with the revenants.” Lucinda said handing over a case.

Alexandra opened it to reveal a wooden flute. “You want me to use Lullaby of the Dead?” she asked nervously.

“It’s the only thing that will help calm the revenants.” Lucinda said sadly.

Alexandra took the flute into her hands. “I’ll do it.”

“Is that…dangerous?” Marcos asked in a quiet voice.

Alexandra turned to him. “No. My aura will be amplified by the flute, so the output will be strong, but it won’t drain me as fast. Since I just started using my powers this shouldn’t affect me.”

Marcos shifted his gaze before putting his arms around Alexandra. “Be careful.” He said.

Alexandra smiled. “I will.” She turned to Lucinda. “I’m ready.”
