Chapitre 31: Thirty-One

“Ash. Ash.” A voice cooed.

Ash found herself in a dark cavern the air was damp and she could hear the sea along with the cry of gulls. A shiver went up her spine.

“Aaaaash look at me, Ash.” The voice sang.

Ash turned to the glowing orb. Something was wrong.

“Crona, are you okay?” she asked.

“I’m fantastic.” Crona said his voice lilting.

“Are you high?” Ash asked staying away from his body and his consciousness.

“I’m close to being freed. So close I can taste it.” The voice said.

“What are talking about? Is it Serena, did she do another ritual?”

“Serena was kind enough to use her followers blood to break the seal. Even though their bodies were weak, their magic was strong.”

“I see. So she’s getting desperate, does that mean she saw what I did?”

“Oh, she loved you. She can’t wait for you to join our family.”

“I thought you hated her, she used her powers to turn into a puppet.”

“She loves me. And you’ll love her.”

“I won’t let her control me.” Ash said darkly.
