Chapitre 20: Twenty

Ash sat in a large conference room alone waiting for the arrival of Lucinda and the Queen and whoever else needed to hear what she had to say. Her main problem was coming up with how to explain herself and justifying her request.

“We need to free Crona first.” She muttered to herself.

She stood up and began pacing. “Okay so first off we need to establish that not only is Serena a sociopath, but she’s strong enough to completely brainwash a demigod. Which is why we need to get to Crona before she does. Besides we take away Crona, we take away her reason to sacrifice children.” She paused. “On the downside she could go on a rampage through the country. But we have the second highest mage and shifter population in Nitia. Surely, we’re more prepared to handle her than all those previous times, right?”

“Maybe.” A voice said.

Startled Ash jumped so high that she landed on the table with a loud thud and a cry of pain.
