Hours later, when Cyanide was still sound asleep, he was awoke by the sound of knocking at his door. It was urgent, violent, almost. Knowing something was up, his eyes snapped open, and he quickly retrieved his weapon from beneath his pillow before stowing it away by his hip and going to open the door.
"… What's happening?" He asked Luna, who was on the other side, and held a grim expression on her face.
"I think… it's better if you come to look for yourself."

She led Cyanide up to the roof of the Aterra building, where the others excluding Ragnar already were and a large pale moon hung overhead, illuminated by the blood red aura that surrounded it and painted the entire night sky scarlet. Tonight, the moon seemed brighter than usual.
But that was not the highlight. The highlight was down below, on the fractured pavement surrounding Aterra HQ.
