Chapitre 233: New home

I took another step until I decided to listen to my guts for once in my life and to do something I didn't plan to do.

"Wait," I said before turning around and facing the worker. 

"I decided I want to adopt Floyd," I announced.

I didn't think about it a lot, it was rather an instinctive decision. Something I felt the need to do as soon as I heard that poor puppy cry. I had a huge house at my place and I always wanted a dog. I didn't know how Cameron would react to my sudden decision but I was sure Floyd would soon become part of our family and he would even conquer Joanna's heart.

"What?" Evelyn asked in complete disbelief and shook. The worker turned around to open the door of the second room. He walked to Floyd's cage, this time he didn't get excited, probably scared to get deceived again, but when the worker opened his cage and I knelt spreading my arms the dog ran to me and jumped to lick my face cheerfully.
