No answers from her.
the only noise I heard was the echoing of my heart inside my chest, beating fast and steady provoking me a tight in my chest which was painful every time my heart knocked against my rib cage.
Evelyn shook her head and widened her eyes, finally, a smile appeared on her lip, although not too certain.
"I am happy for you." She said in a low voice but right before I could take a breath of relief she added: "But are you sure it's the right time? You had been dating for only 5 months or so..." She scratched her head perplexed, but when she read the sadness in my gaze hearing my concerns became real she changed her approach once again.
"Look..." She breathed out, probably unable to make a decision as well since she seemed to go through way too many emotions to identify them.
