Chapitre 190: Selfishness

He stabbed me with the second question taking advantage of her absence, "do you think this course can help her? I am concerned it will only be a waste of money.."

A waste of money? Did he really think something so important for his girlfriend would be a waste? He disappointed me with his reaction. I expected him to be more mature and support Joanna as much as she deserved. But instead, he put his need to see her every day first instead of her happiness. That was very selfish of him. I was sure that if he was the one who was in that position Joanna wouldn't think twice before supporting him.

I blinked a few times hoping he would take back his statement. But he didn't. 

"A waste of money?" I pretended I didn't understand what he meant even if I unfortunately did, I didn't like his reaction at all but I still tried my best to understand his reasons and what may be his preoccupations.
