Chapitre 182: Paranoid

James walked into his penthouse and headed straight for the reading room where Delilah spent time. Delilah was quietly sitting, reading a book on the balcony. She has no idea about the commotion down there when James humiliated Nicole Schurman on national television.

Delilah smiled sweetly at James, who came and approached her.

"What are you doing?" James pleasantly asked even though he had seen Delilah holding a book.

"I'm reading La Citta di Smeraldo, Mr J," said Delilah. James gave a slightly wider grin and leaned closer to his seat. Then he put one arm on the couch behind her back.

"I love this story. It's about an ugly man who loves a flower-picking girl." Delilah smiled and nodded. James's fingers were stroking Delilah's hair in the soft summer breeze.

"Candy, I have something to tell you." Delilah closed her book and nodded.

"Uhm… I want…" James looked a little embarrassed to express his wish.
