My whole life had revolved around Richter. I stood by his side at his beck and call: sitting on his lap, listening in on meetings, waiting for him to return. I had realized without him I didn't have an identity. That was quite horrid. I had forgotten that I had individuality. At least this time gave me a chance to think about my plan.

Maybe, asking for Carlisle's love was too much. Maybe, I could just ask for his care.

I glanced out the window. The gardens were in front of me and hemmed by the treeline forest. Maybe, I should just run away. I scrunched up my skirts. I would continue with both plans.
