Chapitre 9: The Male Lead, No, Big Brother
"Dad! Stop saying embarrassing things like that!" Ariadna says with a red face. The Duke just laughed and patted her head. "Hahaha, alright. Let's wait at the front" He says and caresses her hands which were wrapped in his arm.
Ariadna gives an eye smile at him. "Alright, dad!"
They then walk to the front mansion with the servants and butler following them from behind.
Ariadna starts waiting for the carriage to come while the Duke talks to the butler about some business. She just stared into nothing when Ray tapped her shoulder.
She looks behind and sees Ray smile at her. "My lady, are you feeling cold?" He asked her.
Ariadna thought for a moment and nodded. Ray smiles and takes something from his pocket.
"Give me your hand" He said. She shows her palm and he puts the thing in her palm. Ariadna looks at the red rock confusedly.
"It's a mana stone. It can warm you up" The Duke says after staring at her daughter since earlier. She nodded and gripped the mana stone and smiled after her body felt a little warm.
"Oh, they arrived" The Duke says and Ariadna starts to become nervous.
'This is my first time meeting the main characters..' She thought , the carriage with the Duchy Arcane symbol stops in front of the Duke and Ariadna.
The door opens and a man comes out of the carriage. However, Ariadna widens her eyes at the male lead appearence.
'Neat silver neck length hair, sapphire eyes with long eyelashes and a 24/7 cold expression. He was also very tall and built'
Kaiser then brings out his hand and another person in the carriage holds it and comes out.
Ariadna gasped in her mind. Beautiful viridescent hair with Ruby rounded eyes, and a small nose that really suits her face. Also her plump pink cheeks and pinkish lip.
She stared at the main couple and fangirling inside, however composed herself.
Ariadna put her hand at her right chest and pinched the dress with a low bow. "Welcome back, Brother. And.." She glances at Emerald who just stares at her back.
She gives a smile to the now mistress in this house. "I welcomed the new future duchess in this house" Ariadna stands straight.
Emerald just looks at her and takes a step back nervously. Kaiser notices it and they start whispering to each other.
"Brother"
"Yes?" Kaiser turned his attention to her beloved sister. "If The Mistress is uncomfortable, I will bring her to your shared room" She said.
"Ah, thank god. Please bring her to our room" He says and pats her head softly.
Ariadna smiles at Emerald. "Please follow me, Mistress" Emerald just followed her silently from behind while a few maids followed them.
I can sense the female lead discomfort so I turn to the servants behind us. "Ray, Amy, stay. The others can leave" The servants follow my order and walk away.
"Amy, Ray, takes 7 steps behind" Amy and Ray nodded and walked far away behind them.
"Now, Mistress. Is this okay?" I ask Emerald gently. She looked at me with shock and nodded vigorously.
'Plan A: to get close to the female lead, success! Emerald is a woman who has anxiety when she is with an unknown person. The only person she is comfortable with is her family and Kaiser, of course'
"Thank you, Lady Ariadna" She says with a soft voice. I silently fangirl and nodded at her.
"You don't need to call me formally, Mistress. After all, we are in-law" I spoke to her. "Ah, then... Please call me Silvi" Emerald smiles softly at me.
"Wait, really?" I ask with wide eyes. She just nodded happily.
'Only the royal family has both names and if they give you permission to call them by the second name, it means that you're one of the special people to them'
"I really appreciate calling you that, Lady Silvi. And you can call me Aria" "Alright...Lady Aria" She says and we arrive at my brother, now the main couple room.
"This is your room until Lady Silvi and brother become the head of the family" I explain and Emerald looks around.
"Are you satisfied, Lady Silvi?" I ask hesitantly. She turned at me quickly and gripped both of my hands. "Lady Aria, can I have a private talk with you?" She asked shyly.
I glanced at Amy and she just nodded. "Sure" I say and we sit at the small table beside the fireplace. "Lady Silvi, do you prefer tea or coffee?" I question her.
"I love tea more, especially green tea"
"Alright. Amy, makes green tea"
Amy nodded and excused herself while Izek guarding the door outside. "Can I ask how old you are,Lady Aria?" "I'm 18 years old" I answered.
"... I see"
Amy then comes with the tea and fills the cup tea and waits outside. "So what did you wanna talk about?" I tilt my head and sip the tea elegantly.
"I... I don't know how to do mine and Kaiser's first night together!" She confesses with a deep red face while I start choking on the water.
