Chapitre 297: (297) The Former Slaves

Light trickled through the canopy of leaves that blanketed the exterior of the treehouse. Geth shielded his eyes and groaned as he turned away from the harsh glare.

'Why the hell do I feel so terrible?'

He kept his eyes closed and examined himself, finding that a small, egg-sized section of his right arm didn't feel right. Memories of his arrival to the city flooded back to him.

"Ah shit. I definitely went overboard," He grumbled.

"You think?"

Geth's eyes snapped open, and he saw Apate lazing at the foot of the bed. She looked bored, and he could tell that she'd been there for a while.

"What are you doing here?" Geth asked.

Apate looked at him teasingly, "If you don't recall, you asked me to live here."

"You know what I mean," Geth rolled his eyes. "Why are you in here?"
