Drew took back his statement immediately. Mila expected him to play mini golf. He had never played mini golf in his life!
He knew how to play regular golf, of course. He had taken lessons from a young age because his father thought it would come in handy for making future business deals. He wasn't wrong about businessmen liking to golf either.
The difference between real golf and this monstrosity was the types of swings used. Here you weren't supposed to do anything more than putt. Leo didn't seem to comprehend that despite Mila showing him how it was done.
He swung and missed a dozen times before finally smacking the ball so hard it bounced out of the hole they were on. He had to go chase it down as Mila cracked up behind him.
"I'm sorry," she wheezed when he came back. "You're not supposed to hit that hard though. Let me show you how to do it again."
