Chapitre 226: A Horrible, Unfamiliar Feeling

Ava realized belatedly that she had accepted total strangers with completely different lives from hers into her house. She trusted them because of the blood bond but didn't know anything about them. 

All this time she had been more concerned with getting them to fit into her world without causing trouble than getting to know them. Guilt made her stomach squirm. 

She had been so isolated since moving to Las Vegas, hardly bothering to even attempt being social. Her only friends were the people she volunteered with at the animal shelter. 

Ava had gotten out of the practice of being genuinely friendly since any attempts at friendliness at work were false, excluding the ones with Ian. Since she didn't know how long Zeldris and Kael would be here, wouldn't it be better if they managed to become friends?
