"I've thought a lot about this." Candi settled into the seat and let her mind out to play. This was the first time she'd run this theory by someone. "Nadine's career started when? In the eighties? That would have still been a tough time for women in the CIA. She put a lot into that career. If she only wanted to make more money, she could have left the CIA. Or she'd have been selling secrets. Killing people and the things she's covered up don't equate to a payday. Unless, she's working on someone else's orders. That might work for someone else, but Nadine is a strong woman. She wouldn't work for someone else unless it was on her terms. Which is why I think someone had dirt on her and conned her into doing something for them, and then it became a cycle."
Q blinked at her several times.
"What?"
He opened and closed his mouth. "I can't tell you."
