Chapitre 229: The Bloodied Vampire King

Gabriel leaned against the tree in the forest of the Silver Crescent pack. The smell of blood filled the air, the cries of wolves erupting throughout the night as he watched pack members sprint off into the woods. The werewolves were crazed, and so they should be. Even Gabriel was devastated by what had just happened. He wiped his unruly hair back, grimacing from the blood on his hands now smudged in his white strands. 

The Vampire King stepped in the same direction as Alpha Damon and the other pack members to help right a wrong, but he halted after feeling a sharp pain in his thigh. Looking down, he touched his trousers and frowned; he was not injured. If he wasn't injured, then that meant…That was when Esme's high emotions burst through the bond, she was highly stressed, and fear struck through him like a pin pricking his skin.
