**ADDIE'S POV**

I knew that I needed to adjust to life here at the palace again. I hadn't been home for longer than two weeks in a long time, so this life was strange to me now. Not only that, but I had plans for this season. I knew that I didn't have a lot of time to waste if I was going to make sure that the vacation went smoothly and perfectly.

I did relax for the first few days, letting myself enjoy being home and seeing so many friends and family members, on a regular basis. After that though, I wanted to get started on some more things. I wanted to make sure that, when the time came, I was prepared for the vacation.

For one thing, Irina lived with the vampires, and their nation was the furthest north on the entire continent. I knew that when she came for the vacation, she would have to travel for a long time. I didn't like that idea. I didn't want her to spend her entire time off from the Academy just traveling to come see me in Athea.
