**DANE'S POV**

There has been a lot that has happened. Not just the attack on Princess Addie last term, but more recently as well. I knew that, after the threat that was made the other night, Magus Nolan would want to have us upping our game a little.

We had spent the initial stage of the investigation looking into the new staff that the headmaster had hired. He had brought them on to help us, to search for the person that had attacked Princess Addie, but we didn't know them, so we were unable to let them into our confidence until we investigated all of them thoroughly.

Thankfully, Hawkin had come up with a great idea that he and Magus Nolan had worked on. They had made a truth detection tool that was completely untraceable. No one would be able to lie to us without us knowing. And if there was even a hint of them hiding something from us, the headmaster would haul them in to interrogate them.
