**NOLAN'S POV**

That threat, the scene that Larissa caused, the bad feeling that it all caused for me, there was no way to describe all these things to anyone. I was at such a loss when the night ended that I was in a bit of a trance as I walked back to my room.

I wasn't walking alone though. As I left the ballroom, I had seen Addie and Hollis walking together, and the sight of them had me frozen in place for a moment. It wasn't until someone came and took my hand that I was pulled from the stupor that the image had put me in.

"Come on, Professor Nolan, walk me back to my room." It was Katrina Greening, the crafting professor that was from Athea with Addie and I. "A girl can get into a lot of trouble on a dark night like this." She was pretending to need the escort, but I could tell that she just wanted to talk to me.
