I can't believe that I just ran away from him like that. He was going to be so mad at me. What have I done? How could I do that? What was I going to do now? Was he going to come after me? Was he going to punish me? He should punish me. For running away and for hurting him. It was my fault.

And oh, my goodness! I had told him so much. I was so depressed about things being my fault and I started to talk too much. I told him what had happened. I told him about Dad going to get medicine for me. I told him about me being sick. I mentioned that I had a master.

Was he going to be able to find out that I was taught by a werewolf? Would he be able to find Briar because of the things that I said to him? Did I just put a dear friend of mine into danger because I was too stupid to keep my mouth shut?
