Chapitre 143: Visitors

I only waited for about five minutes, give or take a couple. That was all it took for Nishi to find whatever she wanted to get from the kitchen. She returned after that short absence with a tray in her hands.

The tray that she was carrying was made of some beautifully shining black stone that was trimmed in glittering gold. It was beautiful and unlike anything that I had ever seen before in my entire life. And on that tray were things that were equally beautiful.

"I do apologize, Miss Addie, but the serving items for this room were already chosen before you arrived. If anything about it, or even the room's décor, is not to your liking please do not hesitate to let me know. I will bring it up to the king and have everything redone for you immediately."

She was literally telling me that I could have it all done to my specifications if I wanted them to. That I could demand it all be redecorated just because I didn't like it. What the hell! That was too much. And not necessary.
