Lyra left the training grounds and followed after the guard. They passed many rooms and it took a long time to reach the queen's chamber. She only now realized the vastness of Scorpion Castle. It did not consist of stories like her home but instead was spread wide with many rooms. There was a clear distinction between each chamber and the queen's chamber was in the innermost part of the entire castle. 

The queen's palace looked well-maintained and pretty. No.....saying pretty was an understatement because the place in front of her looked absolutely gorgeous. There was a flower garden in the front and a little stream right beside it. Crystal-clear water glistened due to the sun's rays falling on it and one could see small colorful fishes swimming along.
