Chapitre 200: Blaming her

The banquet came to a sudden halt due to the ice freezing the surroundings. But as soon as it melted away, everything went back to normal.

The guard beastmen of the fox tribe had a hard time relighting the bonfires because the wood had become damp once the ice melted. They had to bring in new dry wood from the storage to light the fire. 

No one other than a handful of people knew about Xavier's powers, so it was hard for the majority to guess the cause of the unknown phenomenon that occurred a few minutes ago. And the ones that already knew the truth tactfully closed their mouth hence preventing Xavier's secret from knowing to outsiders. It was not like Xavier asked them to keep his powers a secret, but it was more like the right thing to do. Him being an immortal beastman was already enough in boosting his tribesmen's egos, so disclosing more of his mystic powers might cause them to act recklessly toward the others tribes.
