Chapitre 121: CXXI: the meeting

She left without a word but after nodding. Could she refuse to meet him for whatever he wanted to meet her for?

She tried not to think about the fact that he said he wanted to see her that night as she laid on her bed and closed her eyes to sleep. If he sends for her then she will be sleeping when the message gets to her.

With that, she slowly drifted off.

She had barely slept for a dozen of minutes when she was awoken by movements on her bed and she was soon wrapped in a familiar embrace.

She stared into the dark space before her. His fresh scent filled her nose and she closed her eyes. She inhaled deeply as her heart raced.

"I told you to wait for me to call you," he told her in a low scolding voice.

"I was too tired," she gave him an excuse although that was far from the case. She tried to avoid getting called over by him but he came over himself making her attempt futile.
