Chapitre 4: Gabriel Vs. Cole

Gabriel's saber and Cole's rapier were very similar weapons in that they both required swift and precise movements. Because of their similarities, the wielder's mastery and skill were of the utmost importance. It was evident from the fact that even after Theo's fight was over, their duel was still at a standoff.

Both of their chests heaved as they stared intently at each other, trying to figure out their next moves. Some intense combat must have had taken place for them to be already so exhausted.

Gabriel lunged forward and drove his blade directly toward Cole, who parried the attack and backed off. Gabriel continued pushing, each of his strikes was blocked, but they were frequent enough to not give Cole a chance to counterattack.
